What I wrote is my opinion! no matter how many working for free with this project!

DO you know what being grateful means? It's a free project stop complaining and if your PC cant handle it, get a new one. OR join their comms channels and provide some constructive less demanding feedback. Thats my opinion.

I know what that is. YES. But is this just a praise forum? I dont care if its 79.99 or freeware, if my opinion is that its a bad performing aircraft, then that is stil my opinion! And I am allowed to say so. If thats my opinion.

No one complains about you opinion, sure you can say that you don‘t like it, BUT in german we say „Der Ton macht die Musik“, meaning the way you say smtg makes the difference

You right, but it deserves some respect it is not only a free addon, it's a quality free addon, I liked their A320 neo and FSLTL. Now I'm curious to test the A380, although is not my favourite airplane.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

I, like others, was curious to see the latest FBW rendition of the A380 for MSFS 2024. I just downloaded it and spent about an hour with it. First my rig is only medium high with a 10-series Intel and a 4080 FE. I had absolutely no issues with skips, jumps, pauses or stutters or any anomalies. The only glitches in the visual presentation was the PG around Sacramento with melting trees and buildings. I cap the frame rate at 60 and I never saw anything lower than 45 and that was at a big international apt. I'm not an Airbus aficionado so I won't speak to system specifics. What I will say, FBW has done an outstanding job with what's available now. One gets a sense of size not only in the air handling but when perusing through the cabin. The cabin may not be finished, but what is there is more than one would expect for ac at this stage. The furnishings are nicely done and well appointed.

I didn't try ALL systems, just the typical ones to render this flyable: Engines, flight controls, Comm/Nav, fuel, etc to give it a quick shake down flight. All worked as expected and I hand flew this for thirty minutes until localizer captured. Obviously it doesn't have every sound, quirk and niggle that a $80.00 product would. But I feel this offers a tremendous introduction into "heavy" aircraft handling. I can totally appreciate the commitment and dedication this team has for providing the community an opportunity to experience the A380. For this I feel indebted and thankful.. So looking forward with further updates. Blue skies to all.

No, but - beside what was already mentioned by several others regarding gratefulness for the extraordinary dedication of the FlyByWire team in developing two extraordinarily complex simulations -, subjectivity is the major concern here: What are your computer specifications?

If you describe this A380 the way you do, it probably is the result of having an inadequate hardware to handle it, this is the main reason we generally rarely agree on performances on this forum and others, because our specifications are all over the place!

I, for one could run the "old" version of the A380 satisfactorily and have completed successfully a number of long flights both in 2020 and 2024, the latest being last week from WSSS to EDDF with heavy sceneries on both sides and solid overcast on arrival, with a perfectly smooth flight.

Does it mean it's perfect, no, it only means my computer can handle it, therefore my opinion can only be positive. When expressing an opinion, let's be careful about the subjective elements leading to it. Especially when those at the receiving end worked for free.

Trust me far from a praise forum. How long you been here? lol. YES we know it performs bad and its been disussed in great detail. After the 24 native release it performs much better so I think its a you problem until they feel they have the time to work more on it. How about adding in your specs or specifics so it doesnt sound like sooking and more like you're grateful for a whole A380 thats been given to you for free. It reminds me of the beggars on the street who arent happy you gave them a $5 instead of 10.

Appreciate it's free but I'll pay for the Ini when it comes out as it's systems are somewhat more complete.

How can you say that the Ini has more complete systems when it's not even out yet, and the FBW is FREE so it's unbelievable what they have accompliced so far. And they keep on developing an fixes bugs and improving it, so just appreciate how far flightsimming has come.

Your “opinion” is incorrect.

The addon runs fine.

if you’re having an issue, you’re using an old version.

so im guessing the dev version is 4K ?

Friend, if you had said, “in my opinion” or “on my machine…” you would be deserving of grace but instead you chose to disparage their graceful work and ceaseless efforts to improve our hobby. You? You came across as a jerk. You should strive to do better next time IN MY OPINION.
