July 23Jul 23 Hey simmers, who is using Fshud Traffic? ScreenshotI think I will keep subsription! EU Airport approved😎 What about you?
July 23Jul 23 I'm using FSHud along with AIG, but not the subscription add-on. Joel Murray @ CYVR (actually, somewhere about halfway between CYNJ and CZBB)Â
July 24Jul 24 I use FSHud but since FSLTL was revived by Navigraph I've had no use for the subscription. July 24Jul 24 I use FShud with AIG traffic. No subscription needed and works well for me. Martin Sims: MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 and X-plane 11 Home Airport: CYCW - Chilliwack, BC Canada i5 13600KF 32GB DDR4 3600 RAM, RTX3080TI Meta Quest 3
July 24Jul 24 Author Thanks for the replies! Interesting to see most of you are running FSHud without the subscription. For me the historical flights feature is what keeps me subscribed. Since most of my flying happens late evening, loading earlier traffic makes a real difference in how alive the airport feels. I still use AIG for model quality, but the traffic patterns from FSHud Traffic feel more realistic for offline sessions. Curious if anyone here has actually tried the historical option?
July 24Jul 24 I'm running with FSHud Traffic and AIG (TC + external options). This combination gives me as much traffic as I need, and AIGTC fills in a few gaps where FSHud Traffic misses the odd Airport/Airline/Flight. I use the simulator time option for FSHud Traffic - is this what you referred to as historical? Edited July 24Jul 24 by ConstVoid Ian Box
July 24Jul 24 Count me in as a subscriber too. For me the big thing was how well the injected traffic matches real operations - I've compared it side by side with FlightRadar24 at a few busier airports and saw maybe 80-90% correspondence depending on the airport and time of day. Both departures and arrivals looking right, not just one or the other. That kind of realism matters a lot when I'm doing offline IFR and want the airport to feel alive. The FSHud airport configuration side is a nice bonus. Being able to set which runways are active and having the traffic actually respect that setup makes the whole session feel more coherent.
July 24Jul 24 As long as there is the annoying 180 degree turn right at the gate, FSHud will only be used as a AI Traffic sky filler for my VFR flights, as it does not need an active simbrief FP, which is the huge plus imho compared to BATC e.g. For proper big hub to big hub flights I prefer BATC however exactly because BATC has pushbacks implemented for AI planes. Jetways dont connect with both sadly... but that is just me, I find the missing pushback THE immersion killer for FSHud. Other than that, it is great Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
July 25Jul 25 Author The 180 turn issue is a fair point. For my IFR flying it matters less because I'm usually already climbing out by the time surrounding traffic starts doing anything interesting, and the ground phase isn't where my session lives or dies. The reason I keep the subscription is the historical data - loading a busier time of day makes the whole airport environment feel alive during my late evening sessions, and that trade-off is worth more to me than polished pushback behavior. Would be nice to see that side improved eventually though.
July 26Jul 26 That climb-out point is one I've noticed too. When I'm departing and the traffic is already airborne, FSHud seems to handle the vertical separation pretty well in my experience. The patterns look different from what I see closer to the ground where the airport configuration has more influence on the flow. I've also found that the departure routes tend to match real operations more closely when I compare them against what flight tracking shows. It's one of those details that makes the subscription worthwhile for offline IFR sessions.20 hours ago, malichek said:The 180 turn issue is a fair point. July 26Jul 26 None of the major traffic injectors are perfect IMO betwen SIAI, BATC and FSHud. But FSHud is the best there is right now. Almost wish it was a subscription service so that we could get some more active development, like SIAI.
July 27Jul 27 They’ve fallen off in the last few months unfortunately. They used to have the best traffic sequencing but now it’s even worse than BATC. Hoping they get back on track soon, but their updates have dried up recently as well. Edited July 27Jul 27 by UAL4life

So going back to batc with live traffic for a while. Happy Landings
July 27Jul 27 I'm another subscriber here. The airport operations side is what keeps me renewing. I fly mostly low-cost routes around the UK and Europe, and what I notice first is whether the departures and arrivals actually match real schedules. FSHud Traffic does a pretty good job with that in my experience, especially at the busier airports I tend to use. The airport configuration control is a big part of it too. Being able to set which runways are active and seeing the traffic flow adjust accordingly makes the whole offline IFR session feel more coherent. I've tried running without the subscription and going back to AIG alone, but the overall airport environment just feels less connected. For the kind of flying I do, the combination of FSHud and the traffic add-on works well enough to keep the subscription going.
