I have lost the urge to even try it again, and just put it down to a bad judgement call by myself. Had it since day 1, and just cannot be bothered to use it anymore. There's far better aircraft that deserve the limited time i now have.

You should try it again

There's plenty of short, less than an hour flights.

Not worth purchasing. Not getting better either overall IMO. One step forward, two steps back. The custom autopilot has just as many bugs as before or even more. You cannot edit any restrictions on th

As an owner I have to agree with Fiorentoni. It is a dumpster fire that is unflyable. And WORSE than it was when I bought it two years ago. It seems with every update they introduce new issues. I used

As an owner of the EJet Series from day 1 I can tell you. FSS is clearly out of their league and many customers feel it’s time to move on. Myself I never fly the planes anymore. Too much work, too m

I actually just did a full large airport to airport flight last night from KDEN to KLAS with a 34k cruise altitude. It actually performed perfectly. I was shocked.

It actually switched to PTH at TOD and followed it down perfectly without oscillation. ILS worked well I had no problems. No WASM issues, I was able to edit my flightplan with no issues. My plane followed the flightplan without doing anything wierd. I would advise people to delete the WASM folder and let it rebuild. The FMC is much more complete now. A lot of my issues were because the plane actually acts like it should I had learned it when it was incomplete and so now a lot of things have changed. Gonna try KLAX/KTUS 30 tonight. want to land at an airport with RNAV required and no ILS. The only thing I had to do was turn Turbulence back to Low, but Realistic is just too much it sways side to side continuiously.

Let us know how it goes. I still havent purchased it yet haha

Looked pretty good coming into Reno. I did PHX RNO which I just did in real life last week as a passenger, really neat approach, very very bumpy.

Can it fly RNP AR approaches that have radius to fix leg type?

Piece of junk

Have you tried the patch that just came out? Or you know, read the posts above yours?

While this topic is about the beleaguered E170 it is unfortunate that it taints FSS so badly as a company that it makes it seem it just wants grab money for an alpha version then never really finish it. In fact their B727 is the direct opposite. FSS have pretty well kept to their plan and statements with the regard to B727 which was developed as a new aircraft, released as a -200 then added with a -100 and all the time receiving updates that have resulted in tangible improvements from initial release. And, reasonably priced for all that especially for those who bought in 2020 and upgraded to 2024. If I have one issue it is that perhaps we are so used to regular B727 updates that any significant delays to fix a bug in the lighting or something as trivial, bothers us. As I understand it, the E170 and the B727 are developed by different teams within FSS, but that sometimes B727 resources are reassigned to help the E170 effort which then has a knock on effect on B727 update releases from time to time.

Anyway it's clear that E170 purchasers are risibly upset with FSS after all this time and rightly so. I just want to point out to those reading this thread that not all of what FSS does is bad and that in fact their B727 is very credible and well supported product. Given an opportunity to develop their own aircraft natively FSS have shown their worth. But developing a legacy aircraft they purchased from someone else seems to have been a bridge too far and I fear the E170 is not an easy fix for them. But if there is anything positive that can come out of all this negativity, it is that FSS haven't given up on E170 which I think many users have. Their latest updates, good or bad suggest they are still actively pursuing it.

No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.

Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower!

Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-10700 CPU @2.90Ghz, 32GB RAM,  NVIDEA GeForce RTX 3060, 12GB VRAM, Samsung QN70A 4k 65inch TV with VRR 120Hz Free Sync (G-Sync Compatible).

Boeing Thrustmaster TCA Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, Turtle Beach Velocity One Rudder Pedals.

Since I have a soft spot for the E-Jets, and I was able to fix my issue with that black box in the windshield after activating the product, last night I finally had a successful and very smooth short flight with the E170, everything worked great (at least for that flight hahaha!). This was in 2020, in the same flight in 2024 with all the same weights and route, I failed miserably in the landings. Don't know why but the reason I still keep alive 2020 for now.

Can anybody confirm if the navdata can be finally updated with a navdata-only subscription? I understand the updater in previous Experimental versions froze while doing so. In the meantime, I'm stuck with the stable (VNAV-less) version.

Yep, it works at last

I thought the first "stable" early access version was quite fun to fly. The cockpit looked good and it was a perfect plane for regional hops (as long as you could live without not being able to do any complex approaches). The recent experimental versions on the other hand, has been absolutely terrible - the number of bugs has increased and I've only been able to complete maybe 1 out of 10 flights.

I had installed this new version, but I get climb and cruise oscillations. Handflying is now a nightmare. With the original stable, VNAV-less version, this didn't happen. Any way to return to that version?

Lossless Scaling for all my sims but 2024, which uses the in-sim one.

Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there at 60 locked FPS.

VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.

Ok I had my first big issue after 10 flights, don't know if it was a bug or something I did on my end, but the auto throttle stopped working. It was engaged, AT was active on the screen, but it just stopped moving, it didn't try matching the set speed at all. I tried toggling AP on and off, tried toggling between managed and FMS, nothing.

With this latest version my Brunner ffb yoke does not work anymore. By the way, same with the default Cessna citation longitude. Don‘t know what they have in common.
