Can anybody confirm if the navdata can be finally updated with a navdata-only subscription? I understand the updater in previous Experimental versions froze while doing so. In the meantime, I'm stuck with the stable (VNAV-less) version.

Not gonna bother with giving them free beta testing labor with the experimental version at this point, I'm ditching the FSS E170/190 products the minute the A220 releases. So long FSS!

It's very sad FSS has had so much trouble working out all the bugs in the eJets. I've always enjoyed flying on the E-175 in real life. I had so much hope they would get the bugs worked out for the sim versions. Unfortunately, this leaves me stuck. I have no plans to buy the A-220 until it becomes available outside of the MP, if and when that ever happens.

It's become pretty clear, that unfortunately FSS doesn't have the internal talent set to implement working AP. As stated its been years and the last "experimental" release was a been a big step backward, with more not less broken functionality. To promise at Expo that "near V1" release was a week away, was a huge "PR mistake" to be generous.

If the A220 is performs as promised, I think there will be lots of former FSS customers.

I'm surprised by FSS's decision to push this update to the general public. Their custom A/P still needs a lot of work and is far from being in an acceptable state, with one of the most visible issues being its complete inability to hold an altitude, going up and down like a rollercoaster.

Also, there's a bug with nose wheel steering lagging, introduced by some modification related to the tillers' controls, which the FSS devs are the only ones who can't reproduce it, so they can't do anything about it.

Yes, and now it's possible to update the navdata via EFB.

I don't understand this talk about ditching the E-Jet when the A220 is released. They are two different aircraft. Are you guys like forced to fly the E-Jet only because it's one of the few regional aircraft options available in MSFS?

I agree, the 220 has far greater range than the E-Jet. I tried the latest version, and it has a long way to go. The AP causes uncommanded banks left to right during turbulences. I've jumpseated this plane more than I can remember and although the quality of textures and cockpit model are great, the plane just doesnt fly like the real thing. It's frustrating to see the team taking forever to get it right.

I think they painted themselves into a corner at FS Expo by promising an update within a week. They had to release something and this is the mess they sent out.

As an owner of the EJet Series from day 1 I can tell you. FSS is clearly out of their league and many customers feel it’s time to move on. Myself I never fly the planes anymore. Too much work, too many frustrations, too many better planes to chose from. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies,

Don't know how long that's been on there, but I'm not holding my breath. For the record I've had the FSS Ejets since almost their beginning but have given up on the promises ever becoming reality. So much so that I bought Xplane 12 and the X-crafts Ejet family. Expensive, yet rewarding.

It's a pity as there is a lot to like - the modelling is good, the sounds are immersive and the fps for me is really good now. It has all the makings of a proper study level aircraft until you try to wrestle with the autopilot. I really hope they can sort it out, it's a hugely popular aircraft all over the world so it being still spotty is leaving a big gap in the regional sector.

That's already happened - they sold their external model to FSS. That's it.

FSS just released 0.10.41 revision a for this product, indeed fixed my windshield issue of the E170 but gave me a wasm crash... grrrr!

Great plane all around except autopilot avionics!

Makes it frustrating because its actually a great plane with awesome visuals.
