Ankh, there are something near 40,000 airports in MSFS. I can’t afford to DO anything about them. Not to mention that the airfields that most interest me are ones who are least likely to have payware even available.

so, in my opinion, the “problems” are quite comparable.

Well, I only fly GA and don't use AI traffic software. Is that why I've never seen it?

edit - plus, from Airport Services Quality to Aircraft Traffic Variety and everything in between is set to Medium, if that helps.

It is worth noting that the "missing undercarriage" problem also affects static aircraft, so you do not need to have an AI package installed to see it.

@UrgentSiesta There are even scenery design tools available that you could use to at least enhance the default scenery. It is a fact that you COULD do smth. While the culling is a core sim issue Asobo has to solve, nobody else could.

Besides this, I doubt you visit 40k default sim airports, and some of them are even done nicely. While the culling affects each and everyone, on all airports, with any AI plane addon you use incl. the default AI planes and statics. So much for priorities. It is a CORE sim issue that needs fixing asap 🤣

It doesn't affect everyone though does it. I do hope they fix it for you I really do but, for those of us that don't have/see/notice it, it is not an issue in any way whatsoever. I'm beginning to feel like I'm missing out by not seeing it actually!

Well, it is simply impossible not to see it, as each and every AI plane is affected. I really wonder how you guys look at the environment in the sim. Not at all? If you are taxiing to the active and each plane floats down the runway with no gear you cant see this? What does absorb you so much during taxi?

Anyway, no sense in fighting against each other here. Some see it and are annoyed by it should be enough, because it IS a CORE sim issue. And as said: the thing driving me nuts is not the bug per se, but how it is handled. Or rather NOT handled at all...
