Yesterday was very stormy in FL and basically the entire Caribbean, but there isn't a single runway light to be found in MSFS in daylight MVFR / IFR. As much a fantastic visual experience MSFS provides (don't get me wrong, I love the sim), "small" details like that remain unaddressed by Asobo resulting in immersion killers (at least to me and my expectation of having a flight simulator that gets at least "core" or basic aviation things right).Yep - very fair. In my case, I had recently updated my Orbx TrueEarth FL install but forgot to update my scenery file, so it didn’t show up in the sim session - leaving me with default scenery. I tried to fly the flight anyway, but it’s just so ugly that I quit the sim, edited the file to fix the issue, and then reloaded back in. Had a wonderful flight in the Colimata F-104 and after surviving the beastly landing process, yeah, it struck me that the airfield lights were on and all the planes lit up as well due to relatively dark weather conditions. 😁

It would be great if we could toggle on/off the scenery files inside the sim to avoid dealing with the scenery file. Maybe in XP13! Btw thanks for the reminder that I Gotta get myself that F-104!!! September 21Sep 21 I do want to say. Yes, I love the visuals that this sim offers, and I'm glad that we even have it in the first place. But if a couple of specific things or more were fixed or improved, the immersion would increase by 10 fold. Marco D'Agostino

I have always considered the AI traffic in Microsoft Flight Simulator over the years (and that includes MSFS 2024) to look rubbish. Traffic added in specific airport addons can look very nice, but the overall effect of seeing default AI traffic turn through 90 degrees, shoot through roundabouts at 70mph, jump back and forth when it gets confused by a blocked off street, and not follow the road image beneath it to be an instant immersion killer. All default AI traffic is disabled in my flight simulator, and will remain that way until it actually starts to look realistic. September 22Sep 22 I should have left out the "live" part in my comment. I am curious to know how accurately it renders vehicles and their movement. That part has always been very crude on a large scale in Microsoft Flight Simulator. September 22Sep 22 Is chaseplane now compatible with SU7 Beta? I just ran the installer and installed the uppermost option, it says "added 21 hours ago" (?) Steam sales have MSFS 2024 at 650,000 units and I believe PS5 sales were reported by MS at 250,000 units no idea MS Store sales nor XBOX sales (game pass so somewhat skewed).
