  1. Richard, If you are having issues you will need to contact Aerosoft directly for help with that problem.
  2. Kevin and Bob, From what I understand, Boeing collects Test data from at least the first four aircraft that are in the Test flight program to get the performance data that is published to provide a more accurate picture of what expected performance should be for a production aircraft. While there may not be large differences in the aircraft they aren't exactly the same obviously. I don't think it's presented as multiple packages but an average of the test data that is released.
  3. Joe, Just to tag on to what Romain was getting at. Is there any chance this could be the Icing effect? Have you turned on WAI and TAI to see if the situation improves?
  4. Is it with a particular saved flight or panel state? That could also play into the issue.
  5. Barry, Any chance you have the FSX Mixture mapped to an axis on your throttles or hardware? I have heard of that occurring when the Mixture is mapped and not set to 100% as Turbine engines don't use a Mixture adjustment. Anything other than 100% will fail the engine.
  6. That's certainly very odd then. You might want to consider removing whatever controls your rudder input just for testing purposes even though the rudder didn't appear to be deflected. If that doesn't help a Remove/Install of the 747-400 would be my next recommendation to see if something corrupted on the installation.
  7. Is the aircraft actually steering in that direction or is it just the Animation? If the animation is just a little whacky check to make sure Autorudder is disabled and also that "Advanced Animations" are selected in the FSX Display settings menu. If you continue to have trouble after that submit a support ticket via our Support portal and we can go from there.
  8. The spinning N2 Rotor by windmilling it "Should" produce oil pressure, but it is very low pressure compared to what is normally produced by a running engine and there is no way to monitor it to ensure you have positive oil pressure the entire flight. Also the spinning fan would actually increase the drag that the spare engine would produce so removing the N1 Fan "streamlines" the engine a bit. Locking the core rotor allows the engine to bearing to remain preserved and ensures you have a serviceable engine when you arrive. Windmilling in flight after a shutdown requires that the crew monitor and record the oil pressure on the shutdown engine and if positive oil pressure cannot be maintained, the engine comes off regardless of the failure mode.
  9. Paul, There is no all inclusive list of features for the aircraft. As previously stated a number of times here now, the list would be incredibly long and still probably miss a large number of items that were done. If it was possible to do in the realm of the simulator platform, we did it. If there any specific questions you have about features or items you are interested in you can certainly ask or submit a support ticket and we can try to help you. If that doesn't satisfy your quest for knowledge then perhaps read any of the large number of reviews on the aircraft or watch any of the many YouTube videos that have been produced using the aircraft. It should give you a pretty good feel for what it does.
  10. Cliff, Keep in mind, with the Fly By Wire Architecture in the 777, you may not see a noticeable change in the Trim indicator in flight due to the way the trim operates on the 777. There is a fairly extensive explanation of this in the Introductory section of the manual for the 777 to help you figure out the system.
  11. Shouldn't be a problem. I'd be surprised if they both didn't point to the exact same location since so no harm, no foul. Delete the one with the additional tag and you should be all set.
  12. If the Autobrakes disengage on Touchdown, you have some type of Brake input being made. Check your Brake hardware calibration and consider adding a larger Null zone when released if necessary.
  13. Andy, Please open a Support ticket at our PMDG Support Portal and I can get you specific instructions on how to clean that up.
  14. Jerry, I have to say as a Mechanic, you would be my least favorite pilot using Autobrakes Max
  15. You should be safe deleting the second PMDG Ops Center Updater file. You should find the files located in the PROGRAM FILES(X86)/PMDG Ops Center folder. It won't show up in the Remove/Install software control panel and isn't registry tracked so just delete the second one in that folder location.
  16. Gerold, Please open a Suport Ticket on our Support Portal with all the details about how you are programming the FMC, whether this is a saved flight plan or panel state, and if you manually entered the Flight plan or imported it from a planning software. We will be happy to try to help you sort out the issue.
  17. Nighel, As described in the error message you recieved, Please open a Support ticket in the PMDG Support Portal with your information and we'll be happy to help you get things sorted out.
  18. Please take a look at your Windows Fonts Display settings in the Display Settings control panel. You likely have the DPI setting to LARGE and not NORMAL (96DPI) Reset it to Normal and you should be all set. If you continue to have trouble please open a support ticket in our Support portal and we will be happy to help you sort things out.
  19. I look forward to your support ticket.
  20. Vernon, If you have actual data that proves your "theory", please feel free to submit it to our support portal. Continuing to tell us your friend says it's so doesn't give you any more credibility that you are correct in your assertions. As Kyle previously outlined, we have a team of real world pilots that we use to confirm performance and behavior of our products during the builds and while I don't doubt you have a friend who flies the 737, please tell me would make him more qualified than the pilots we currently use for testing the products we produce? I am more than willing to look at something that you can prove with actual data but telling me it's so isn't sufficient i'm afraid. We need actual data from a verified source.

  23. Tom, I replied to you on April 18th and never heard back from you. Can you check your junk mail or log in to our support portal and look at the ticket there and reply?
  24. Wayne, Not sure how you were submitting those tickets but I couldn't find anything from you in our Support system at all. I looked up your account and reset the 737NGX license so you should be all set now.
  25. Short answer, You can't. Why wouldn't you want to install the updated NGX with the added features?
