  1. GraKa? I'm going to guess this means the GPU? There are a few GPU params worth watching beyond just the headline load percentage. Specifically, I watch normalized total power (%), GPU Power (W), temp, and allocated GPU memory to give a more complete picture of how heavily the GPU is being tasked. The load % only tells you the fraction of time the GPU's tensor cores are tasked...100% means the GPU is busy, but it doesn't necessarily indicate how heavy the workload is. Power usage gives some insight into that as a factor in performance. A number of the other solutions mentioned upthread will also give you the option of monitoring those params, but task manager does not.
  2. Not enough info to help. What F-104? Is it supposed to be v5-compatible?
  3. I suspect this is either an outdated or corrupted installer, or perhaps an antivirus program interfering with the download and/or installer. I would temporarily disable the AV, re-download a fresh copy of the PMDG add-on from their web store, and try to install (as admin). If that doesn't work, you're probably going to need direct support from PMDG via their ticket system.
  4. It sounds to me like the avionics are off in the default F22 flight--if not, turn them on and save the scenario as your new default flight. Could be the upgrade installed a new default flight with the avionics switched off.
  5. The Global base and OpenLC weren't library-compatible when OC first started to allow that option, but they are now. I have them installed in libraries now without issue (in P3Dv4 and v5). I think Trees and Buildings still need to be installed in the P3D main folder--you'll know for sure when you try to install, as OC will not offer an option to install them in a library.
  6. I wouldn't assume it has to be something flight-sim related. I'd check to see if something like a Windows update is hanging in the background. Are you using ActiveSky P3D or another weather program?
  7. If you're on the fence w/r/t P3Dv6 or keeping P3Dv4 or v5 installed, it's best to buy the P3Dv4-v5 version and then avail yourself of the free upgrade to the v6 version so you have both.
  8. And note that you need to watch the per-core CPU load, as the aggregated average CPU load percentage figure tells you next to nothing useful. My preferred way of doing this now is to use the free HWInfo64 program on both the sim PC and a second networked PC (e.g. a laptop) together, which allows you to monitor lots of parameters (temps, voltages, loading, etc) on the second PC outside the sim without disrupting the sim display.
  9. KTUS - Tucson Intl KBGR - Bangor Intl KICT - Wichita Eisenhower Intl All are medium size and complexity, and AFAIK haven't been done in any recent sim.
  10. None of that is relevant to the OP's 8700K/1080Ti system. Personally, I don't think the change would be worth the time and/or aggravation.
  11. There are exclusion rectangles in the MSFS SDK. They should be encoded into the scenery bgl of any add-on that replaces a default airport. I don't have KLGA--in fact I only have one Feelthere airport (KBNA)--I was underwhelmed by the quality control, so have stayed away from them for the most part. I seem to remember reading somewhere that running in developer mode was having some wonky effects on exclusions...if you're using dev mode, you might try turning it off and see if that helps.
  12. A good pointout--thanks. I uninstalled the updated 737, downloaded the current (3.0.65) installer from the PMDG store website, reinstalled and though the LNAV roll behavior is still not very smooth, at least it's not trying to throw meal trays across the aisles like the updated versions (3.0.69 and 3.0.70). So...if you're like me and had installed the 737 long ago using an earlier installer and kept it updated in due course along the way, might not be a bad idea to go grab the 3.0.65 installer that's there now before that gets broken errrr...I mean "updated".
  13. OK, let's get back to the topic--the latest PMDG 737 update. I've been a long-time ardent supporter of PMDG's work, but I do have to say that the regression we've been seeing over several updates with this add-on in MSFS is pretty disappointing. I really do wish I'd backed up 3.0.65 before updating...I've never had to take those kinds of precautions with PMDG stuff before, as they were very quick to fix major problems in the past. The saving grace is I still have a very stable P3D version to fall back on for the 737. Guess I'll be heading back to the A310 in more of my MSFS sessions.
  14. All right boys and girls, no need for a playground fistfight over this. I've removed some off-topic posts and personal jabs. Knock it off, please.
  15. Milt Shupe's Howard 500 was one of my favorites in FS9/FSX. I still have it installed in FSX-SE on the portable box I take with me on road trips.
  16. OK, this has gone far enough. Name-calling, even in a general sense (e.g. negatoilets) is not something we condone here. So we'll close this one now.
  17. I just flew a leg in the updated version, and the LNAV roll behavior is still up a duck's butt--so violently erratic that the virtual flight attendants had to cancel cabin service and stay strapped-in while the pax prayed aloud. Argh...two months of twitching its way across the virtual skies and still going...they've been quashing complaints about this in their forums with something like "we know about it and there's a fix in the next update." Well, here we are with the "next" update and there's no fix. The PMDG guys sure seem to have lost some of their mojo to allow something so obvious and in your face to fester for so long.
  18. PMDG has just posted update 3.0.70 for the 737 series, available via PMDG Ops Center v2. No changelog available so far.
  19. Is there an ActiveSkyP6 folder in the default folder location? -- C:\users\<your_account_name>\Documents\Prepar3D v6 Add-Ons
  20. You have it installed in a onedrive (cloud) folder? That sure seems odd to me. I'd recommend contacting HiFiSim to see if running it off a networked or cloud-based drive presents any special issues e.g. firewall, permissions etc.
  21. Make sure you are running beta version 8598 of ASP6 (or later), and that you installed the connector that came with that version.
  22. Your best bet is to contact Flight1 to resolve issues with the wrapper.
  23. It might be better to wait until the acft is on the ground and the ground speed decreases to somewhere in the taxi range (e.g. <60 knots) to start generating a bunch of new objects. OK, but when is the sim loading your alternative bgl files? If GSX replaces the original bgl files, and then those replacement bgl files are loaded by MSFS when it first detects the acft on ground, that would mean all that extra ground clutter stuff is being loaded right at touchdown, wouldn't it?
