  1. Do you also cater for rotary aircraft? I fly the ND Chinook. I really like the low viz look, brilliant.
  2. I can't wait until Nvidia supports stereoscopic 3D on a 4K TV / Monitor. The Sony KD-65X9005B is a thoroughly intoxicating example of leading-edge 4K tech. The UHD image quality with native content exhibits a depth and detail that's beguiling, while its 2160p upscaling talents are top notch. You can be confident that this set will make all your current TV favourites look better than they've ever done before. Active Shutter 3D performance is (literally) outstanding. The provision of HEVC decoding and HDMI 2.0 compatibility ensures a level of future-proofing, important as 4K standards remain in a state of flux. Overall, the KD-65X9005B is a genuine showstopper. Sony is back at the top of its TV game.
  3. Or the fact that there's no 3D option in Prepar3d. FSX until then for me.
  4. Is this geared toward fixed wing aircraft or does it work (camera views) equally well in rotary aircraft? Can I also ask if you can have the option of banking to port side and the head tilts over and vice verca?
  5. Did you bridge the 2 cards together? Its a small length of printed circuit board that connects the 2 cards together. If not, or you do not see that this is the case then they will be independant and good to go for multi monitor displays.
  6. Just imagine if you could view it all in glorious 3D? I hope there is a fix for that very soon. I'm so used to the 3 dimensions that I cannot fly in 2 anymore.
  7. The F22 Raptor and F35 Lightning 2 are relatively small and quite nippy.
  8. Why support DK2 and then strip away DK2 support? I'm at a loss.
  9. Is there an idiots guide available anywhere?
  10. Not if you drink half a bottle of Scotch before hand.
  11. I'm truly at a loss that there is nil support for either DK2 or Stereoscopic viewing in Prepar3d. At least we have DCOC for the interim. I'm going to wait until I migrate over to Prepar3d now as 2D kills it for me.
  12. Thanks but I do not understand why you require full screen mode to enable stereoscopic viewing. Is Prepar3d constantly in windowed mode then?
  13. I was hoping to continue using my 3D Vision 2 glasses once I have installed Prepar3d 2.4 for the first time. Could anyone update me as to whether, or not Nividia 3D is now supported in full screen mode as it is in FSX? Thanks in advance for any info.
  14. Thanks for all your advice. Ive decided to buy the mid range 'Alpine computer systems' rig. That should do the trick.
  15. Thank you very much, pmb. It's going to cost me a Grand (GBP) which isn't too bad considering my last cost me twice as much. I'm hoping to run Prepar3d through the O-Rift DK2 with DCOC V2 without too many stutters which many have reported with older machines.
  16. Ive been away for 5 years bringing up a new family and only now do I finally have enough down-time to consider flying again. My current PC is 5 years old so I know I'm going to struggle with that. Would the specs below be able to handle Prepare3d at moderate settings? Thanks for your honest advice. The basic specs are.... (current PC in signature below) i7-4770 Quad @ 3.4Ghz 16GB RAM GeForce 760 with 2GB VRAM Win 8 2 TB HD
  17. England and wales never had originally. It was implemented sometime after. I personally do not see the point flying this scenery in the dark. Although at twilight and sunrise night lighting is a must. In my opinion and many others, Ireland was rushed through and at the same time put Scotland on the back burner. Which infuriated me. I had already splashed out on the western isles and Orkney too like many others. Can't vent my anger over at their forums though or you just get banned just like one of the beta testers did
  18. Gentlemen, the new standard has just been set. Incredible is the only word that describes Scotland South. http://www.playhorizon.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=4717
  19. Will helo vibration be included too?
  20. Could you explain cloning and exactly what Norton ghost is? Could this be used to back up your main hard drive just in case?
  21. Hey Milviz. What's the chances of the Chinook being released before Xmas? Appreciate any timescale at all.
  22. I agree. The best hands down. And I've never needed customer support myself, so please don't be put off, or you'll be missing out on amazing scenery that transforms FSX.
