  1. What if this is solely an extension - a standalone sim - derived from the existing MSFS2020 core/code, with only missions etc possible to satisfy the casual gamer/flyer on consoles etc? After all, we haven't seen anything other than missions in the trailer/teaser so far. Now I don't know what to make of their "FAQ" and their vague sales language... but so far, I'm not ruling anything out...
  2. I suppose... But I guess, that they cannot speak for developers who could make their own decisions. They can only control, what's inside the Marketplace, as they set the rules for those addons? I have a feeling, though, that addon-developers would comply with similar guidelines, if/when migrating to the new sim.

  4. Interesting discussion. Personally I simply don't believe in AppleVR. Even less, that it's made (or is optimal) for gaming. The pricetag taken into account, it's (at least in my opinion) made for production, people using SolidWorks, biologists, engineers or similar, who'd would be utilizing it for productive utilities or perhaps presentations. Also, since it most likely only works with Apple's devices, I would expect, you'd need quite a solid (beefy) Mac Pro for using it efficiently. Apple has always been expensive and I actually LOVE their computers/laptops in terms of quality and MacOS and the environment etc... but I don't know. Lately, they've been launcing some 'interesting' products. The Airpods Max was a $999 if I recall correctly. And the Pro Display XDR for $4.999 - which didn't include a stand (had to be purchase seperately for $999)... The new AppleVR? Personally I don't see a huge market for it, the price alone taken into consideration. We'll see... 🙂
  5. What's wrong with GeForce Experience?! I kinda like it. You can just disable GeForce Experience's ability to automatically optimize new games. (I'm running AMD now; but that's more because NVIDIA's prices have gone crazy)

  8. How does it handle photogrammatry and 3D cities etc? Is that different from Bing? Better or worse? Is there more of it or? Another thing about the HOST file? Does it edit the HOST file or replace it (remove any existing entries in it) ?

  11. Are you sure, that accidently set it to "Active Pause" or something? I (was an word not allowed) did this once (in the Fenix), and was confused, as the sounds continue and you can move round the cockpit, but the systems freeze and won't react to input or changes. I'm embarrased to say, that it took me awhile to figure this out... 🙂

  14. @Fiorentoni . I don't know what's happening, but I can (kinda) confirm, that I - for some strange reason - get less trafic from using FSLTL than AIG. I don't know why this is, though... I doubt this has anything to do with wrong (or outdated) application files - at least in my case. This setup is completely new, with a newly installed Windows 10 (since I had some hardware upgrades done).

  17. Indeed yes. It would be nice, it something could be made, which had the option of being community-driven (or community-customed). Either something like PF3 has done or GSX Pro, with .ini files or similar files, which could be exported and shared. Otherwise it's simply going to take ages (no offense, FSHud!) to cover all (or majority) or the airports.
  18. In short - no. At least I haven't found a way... It would be nice, if there were some way of setting such things up (simple custom configurations) inside the UI. I started for instance at EKCH, and FSHud insisted on giving AI traffic (and myself) take-off on runway 22L and landing 22R - have NO idea how arrived on that setup, though. In real-life, it's the oposite. R-runways are used for takeoff (22R and 04R depending on wind) and L-runways are used for landing (22L and 04L). It also used 12/30 a few times, which is almost never done IRL, unless there's heavy winds favoring that specific direction. Yes, yes, I know that you can 'just' change the desired runway manually inside FSHud by changing the routing - but it kinda breaks the immersion, when you're the only plane doing it.

Although, please refrain from generalizing your opinion or stating your own subjective views as facts. I am curious though, besides the weather-radar which doesn't function in MSFS, what functions do you think is "not behaving as in P3D" and why? I've never had issues with the PMDG in MSFS,
  20. Agreed. The voices you've linked to, is not what I am experiencing in FSHud.
