  1. Hi, I was actually talking to doruks, not you, but hey, since you are not using x-gauge and have weather how it should be then it is telling me something too. Thanks for that.As for FSUIPC, with DWC all weather settings should be off.
  2. Ok, and yes, I was relating to you :) Good that you have been contacted already. The thing is that I am using DWC and got perfect fog, also wisible from above, however result is close to what it can be, and I am not too demanding.
  3. It can fly that easy. I think Swiss or one of the airlines from Switzerland uses it on Geneva - KJFK flight daily...
  4. One more try. When you use ASE, do you always pop up X-Gauge? If yes, can you do a flight in DWC, but do not turn x-gauge at all. And report winds or issues, please.
  5. Why can't you load DWC in ASE? This is the only way to have nice fog cover all the way up to desired altitude. And sign your posts - as per forum rules.
  6. Can I ask you for one thing? Can you observe winds while running DWC? I am looking for situation where that all of a sudden return to destination airport - while flying.
  7. This is something new I think. I have never seen performance drop while using DWC - thats why I love it :)
  8. The only way to avoid wind shifts as you experience is to use ASE DWC option - please refer to manual for detailed description.
  9. Of course, but perhaps I am not getting a point, so can you precise the question?
  10. AS far as I know it is weighted average of overall conditions with focus on departure/arrival.
  11. Please read manual that comes along with ASE. S-Turns were described there together with advice as to what to do in order to avoid it.NGX works perfectly with ASE.
  12. In my opinion, something is blocking your sim connection between ASE and FSX. Can you confirm that ASE is connected to FSX when this happens? YOu should see it on the status main page.
  13. Do this to test it out:1. Get rid of dynamic rate of change - put it to 0;2. Set enhance route coverage - of course file flight plan to ASE;3. Get rid of UseASEweather from FSUIPC. This is useless setting, not helping anything.Once you start your flight, click weather settings off in FSUIPC and take a flight. BE suer to monitor your winds to make sure all is as it supposed to be.After, tell me if your problem is solved.
  14. Definitely clock this sucker... 4.0 is possible, but go for 3.0 and then add a notch up if temps allow. Tweaks is one thing but nothing is better than good clock speed. I have 4.0 and really I puch it up to limits and I manage to get lowest mid teens, sooo... go for it. Also, consider reducing autogen setting in cfg file. Believe me, going down by 50% will still give stunning result.
  15. Do this. While loading, tick enhance route coverage and set graduation all the way up to 15000 ft.
  16. Maybe temporary issue :) it happens you know... as for experiences after SP3... 1 case is not the whole world, you know and AVSIM forums are full of... all kind of issues with FSX ;-)
  17. Another tip, set your tolerance margin to something bigger, unless you like to be busted all the time.
  18. No, no issues as I have not started using it yet... I am looking for some detailed feedback... why I ask for DWC? Can you tell me what is the AITS and how RWY are assigned? YOu know what problems DWC brings. I am using RC4 and here things are clean now, and now I wanted to give it a try to something else. VOX is no 1 on my wish list :)
  19. Hi,Is anyone using VOXATC with ASE DWC mode? Can you tell me how it is behaving?
  20. I'd like to know where you found that info about SP? Interesting...Second, servers are up and running. Weather is downloaded from servers.
  21. This would be normal FSX behavior, unless you have DWC with visibility graduation and smoothing set to on.
  22. Gronden, as per forum rules, set up your name and I am sure someone will try to help you out.
  23. Ronzie, as for ASE/DWC and RC4 - since few months new FSUIPC was released I have no problem with RWY in use. Somehow, these two now communicate together, plus do not forget that ASE now has option to have wind locked.I do not know what kind of AI program is in use here, but I have UT2 and always - just to be 101% sure - I reset the AI around 40NM from airport. I have not had any issue since then.
