  1. Yup nice and smooth. HDR is better than Win10 (but there is still some banding in the sim).
  2. nah just toggle back to DX11. DX12 is putting much more load on the GPU now so you're not mainthread limited, but it needs a lot of optimizing.
  3. If you check dev mode with DX12, you'll notice you are now mostly GPU limited and not mainthread - that's a good sign for the future.
  4. I was getting 150-200mbps on the store version as well. Must have updated a lot of other nodes too
  5. Don't forget to do the content manager updates as well - another 3.66GB there.
  6. And if that doesn't work, check for the update in the xbox app...
  7. Try loading up in EGLL with 25 or 30% for offline-AI and ground traffic disabled (the hit seems to be airport specific so perhaps something to do with the flight plans). If you are getting a hit, post up here Offline traffic density - Simple Traffic - AEROSOFT COMMUNITY SERVICES
  8. Pretty cool to see the sim taking center stage AMD Radeon 21.11.3 driver has support for Flight Simulator GOTY Edition and more - Neowin
  9. Just run the Manager - it had auto-update routine at startup within a shell.
  10. Agreed - and the offline Asobo spawning logic also appears to generate more traffic than it should at the presets; online is significantly easier on performance at large hubs.
  11. Liking the new AI Manager update suggesting linking of the OCI file. Just wanted to confirm the process for uninstalling / disabling the addon as moving or deleting the symbolic link directory reference in the Community folder has different results than deleting a file. Edit: If leaving the Packages directory in the default path, running "verify setup" in the AI Manager now pops up the maximum-length warning message for every single airline.
  12. Gave it a try and noticed this as well with the offline schedules - 35 almost seemed too high at initial load, especially when coupled with 0 static. A good stress test is EGLL, where almost all the gates get populated with scheduled traffic even at that that setting.
  13. Thanks and good points. I do run at 60 locked which is why I may be seeing a larger drop (another symptom is GPU usage drops below 60-70%, which is a sure sign of queuing). And the stuttering issue is strange as it can occur far from any hubs. I see there's an update to objects in the Manager, so will run that and repair tools again.
  14. Still seeing more fps hit than that at 100% (with all ~1200 flightplans) - need to drop at or below 70% injection to minimize drops at major hubs. How many flight plans are you loading, and what is the delta - between no traffic enabled in sim, or against default traffic? Also getting stuttering and long frames being introduced with Traffic Manager running the background, even when flying at distance from any hub. Still trying to get to the bottom of that...
  15. If trying out DX12, some tips linked below, and don't forget to also check / revert settings on any sim files: Couple of DX12 tips - Community / General Discussion - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums
  16. I'd easily pay for that...and Interestingly that would probably skyrocket the purchases of addon airports in the marketplace
  17. Been testing performance as well, but haven't come across a complete drop yet (memory leak perhaps?). Did run the internal cleanup tools in the Manager (which did find and fix texture and simobject errors), but was hitting performance issues at certain locations more than others. Dropping injection below 80% does seem to reduce the performance drop and stutter issue a fair bit; I can see GPU head back to >90% which means it isn't queuing as much.
  18. All bush trips are broken at the moment (SU6 further impacted completion). Vote up the threads on the official forums if you haven’t yet.
  19. Can't wait to give this a shot in FS once it get official support through SU7. Reviews in other sims like DCS have been pretty good...

  21. Couple of things to try: - Set the DPI scaling and disable fullscreen optimizations on the flightsimulator.exe All versions - How to improve the performance – Microsoft Flight Simulator Support (zendesk.com) note: will have to revisit after DX12 is launched later this week Reset the sim to vanilla and disable any addons (as others have mentioned, some simconnect links and even textures can cause stutters) How to restore the sim to its vanilla state – Microsoft Flight Simulator Support (zendesk.com) - In Windows Settings -> Gaming -> Captures -> disable any settings related to recording (I'm running Win 11 but should the similar under Win 10) - In Windows Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics -> Add MSFS as an app and set it high performance - Disable / close any power monitoring or OC tools - Disable as many apps from autostart as possible Also what are your system specs? Do you have a gsync / freesync display (there may be a few other options if so)? Hope you're able to get to the bottom of this...
  22. Ah a fellow detailer. I have a 6 set system for warm and cold, pre-soak and rinse. Although the ceramics are so easy to care care for that even things like calipers are a breeze to clean.
  23. You can edit the setting yourself in the registry: Uninstall AIG - Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) - The AVSIM Community
