Creswell, Oregon to Spokane, Washington

Yes, great shot coming in over the river to 22R. And with all the snow and rain this winter, that river is busting! -
New forums will hurt the activity at Avsim.
Hubinwa replied to caaront's topic in Help Using the AVSIM Forums
I'm warming up to this new format. I felt lost at first but now finding the new features and new ways of reading posts very useful. Thanks Avsim staff. -
I fly it frequently and being an all steam gauge plane, I think it is less demanding than other glass Carenados. It runs smooth at 30fps in P3D. This is by far favorite Carenado plane.

Hate to see such a high profile mistake by a genuine aviation legend. -
Captain Sim $9.99 sale - 24 hours only - January 11th
Hubinwa replied to MarkW's topic in The Bargain Hunter's Shack
I am looking into buying the 737 for P3D 3.4, but noticed the last update on this plane was version 1.7 dated 05NOV15. What are the chances it will install into 3.4 without problems? -
REX Worldwide Airports HD 1st Impressions
Hubinwa replied to PaulFWatts's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
My first impression is: How do you install this? My d/l had nine files: rexww1-7 cab files, rexinstaller and rexfileinstaller 20161010. Double clicking either of the installer files gives me options to Modify Repair or Remove. Am I missing another file that installs the scenery? Or am I doing something else wrong? Thanks -
What an exciting finish! World Champion Cubs It was worth waiting for.

Hamburg to Berlin in a Messerschmitt Me 264

Wonderful tour of Berlin, your story added a lot to the experience. The wingspan on that ship is incredible. -
Definitely an increase in performance with P3Dv3.4
Hubinwa replied to Jim Young's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
I am happy to report another performance upgrade in 3.4, not related to FPS, but the improvement in multi-touch capabilities. Full support now for touch screens. I can flick the toggles in both directions, Lclick and Rclick, both fully functional. Now I can say goodbye to FSX. -
Thank you, I like your version much better.
-
Agreed, more like 900-1100 nms.

Also, I find my touchscreen will not perform a "right click" in P3Dv3. Right clicks work fine in FSX however.

My Introduction to Medicare physical is next week so guess that means I'm 65. Seems like yesterday I found a program on a U of F (Florida) mainframe called "Fly a Plane". Stayed there flying, with only a keyboard, till security threw me out. That was 1980, soon after I flew an Apple II for many years.

I agree, coming from FSX with Rex 4 to P3D3, all I have added is Soft Clouds and I could not be happier with the results.
-
I like the detail you guys have put into this plane. And the GTN 750 integration is an outstanding feature. An important question for me is if the cockpit controls (knobs and switches) all use standard FSX and or FSUIPC commands. I try to avoid using the mouse while flying.
-
Thank you so much for all you have done over the years. You will be missed sir, but you will also be remembered.
-
Totally agree, the 750 on a touch screen is a whole new level.
