  1. There is an easteregg on some NG sims.. when you push certain buttons, you will get a machine gun for your aircraft. Dont remember the combination but I can remember a few crews having a lot of fun Other than that, do some approaches @ LOWI.
  2. i can asure you, there is at least some interest for every aircraft that exist. I am also interested to see a PMDG B-2 Spirit but that wont happen as well. I think they stated at some point, that there wont be a PMDG 767. I might be wrong however. Also they actually do have to start from scratch. Fly! is so old, i cannot even remember. I started with Fly2k in the early days and its a totally different platform. Even though its the same plane, the code will look totally different. You cannot port anything from one to another simulator if its such a complicated software. Also things and developer changed over the year. I guess code from then will look so bad compared to what PMDG has nowadays. If i look at code i developed 10 years ago, i want to kill myself for writing without structure and i dont know what else.. Its much more than that..
  3. I am not a legal expert but that doesn't look like a bad thing to me. Its not that he is taking anything from PMDG or TDS. Lets say I have a Mercedes Benz, go to a tuner and let them change the interior to look like a BMW, its wrong as well? Of course, there might be a section in the EULA that tells more about this but usually, its not something thats normally seen as "being wrong". Also calling him an idiot is not something that I expect to see in such a forum and people here should calm down about the whole thing. Its like a kindergarten.
  4. cmon everybody.. just wasting database space.. everybody knows, its not the APU. its the APU!

    FPS

It varies across the eye, and between the sexes. It also varies with luminance, colour, contrast, and area of the flickering source. 18-120 c/s! In eyes, it's usually referred to by the FFF: flicker fusion frequency. The cyclic rate at which a flickering light source appears constant. Peripheral vision is much better than central vision at detecting flicker, and females appreciably better than males. So if the ladies working at their desks notice the fluorescents flickering overhead, and complain, the male office manager will come in, look directly at the tubes, and see no flicker at all. And they'll both be right.
  6. well, there is huge value for pmdg.. in case they fixed something on the core (or something called like that, which is a huge part of both the 777 and the 737), it would be bad to keep one product on the old core and another on a new one. in case there is a problem later on, it can easily be fixed on both products. not when one has an older version.
  7. i am a developer myself and here is how beta testing can be: beta test starts a guy finds a huge bug (or a minor.. doesnt really matter) problem needs to be fixed, which can take some time problem is fixed, beta test can continue and everything related to this bug has to be checked again so you may call it a loop until everybody is happy. one week beta testing doesnt mean anything at all
  8. or maybe.. this isnt a joke but robert knew, we would think it is a joke.. but then again, maybe he knew that we were even thinking like that
  9. i come back tomorrow and see, if this thread still exists but i go for a joke. Robert would never ever keep so important things short
  10. My browser keeps the login. You might check your browser settings (or maybe you have some "cleaner" software, that removes cookies). I am using the newest version of Mozilla. Not sure about other browsers.
  11. i dont know where you got this "one engine must be running" thing from, as you can align your ins without any engine running and all those steps are covered in the manual
  12. haters gonna hate (expected an update here.. and i guess, i am not the first one)
  13. i wait for the day when the amount of posts linking to this website is higher than the price indicated on it
  14. okay we fixed the problem by changing <Path>.\RAASPRO\RAASPRO.dll</Path> to <Path>\RAASPRO\RAASPRO.dll</Path> in the dll.xml file. (you see the dot, dont you? )
  15. Jerry, you can contact me via t.ulrich[at]airbus-pilots.com and we can do a teamviewer session. I can sort it out for you, if you want.
  16. and when you do so, maybe try to not install ALL addons again. maybe one of your addons is broken and causes this. install only the scenery you need for a specific flight, install your PMDG aircraft (it wont ask for registration again, if you installed it once - as far as i remember - however, if you reinstall windows, well, you have to do it again). Maybe you should try without ezdok for a while.
  17. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/421144-can-pmdg-work-with-hifi-to-bring-us-a-working-weather-radar/page-6
  18. also you might update your graphic drivers maybe. i also have a HD4000 combined with a GF GTX780M in my notebook. If i select the GTX before start, it will also show up in settings.
  19. i am not working for PMDG. I started developing a tool that you may know by the name of FS2Crew RAAS. I didnt say its possible (because i didnt check what PMDG needs). Its maybe possible but chances are, there will be something missing and it wont work at all. I am lazy right now so you may try it yourself. Create the export files with makerunway, check the files, try to put them into a format that looks like the PMDG airac and read the EULA and every other legal text before you do so. Not sure if that is even allowed.
  20. well but we only need a small part of the navigation database. PMDG is using a lot more for waypoints and so on. I dont think, its that simple. But you may check the PMDG airac, check the output of makerunway and maybe someone can write some kinda converter with PHP or something. I could basically do it (without really thinking about if there is anything missing) but i dont have time right now.
