Im also in the same boat as you. Want to buy to practice ready for its much more complex 'female' twin is released. Ive read that it is flyable in the AA livery and from KSEA, Im sure the thing will get a patch at least every fornight. By the time the PMDG is released, the CS T7 should be a pretty well rounded off product. I look at it this way, There is competition between CS and PMDG for the T7, Both companies will push each others boundaries because of the competition, If there wasnt any competition vying for everyones hard earned cash, the quality of models being released by both wouldnt be near as good. CS make some great aircraft and although they dont have the fidelity of PMDG, what they lack in complexity they make up in eye candy. I say, buy both, support both as fantastic addon creators for FSX. Yours/mine/everyones, cash is what makes them continue feeding our need for ever better looking and better system implemenation.

Wilco have a T7, but afaik thats the only one, And you'll have to wait for PMDG. Captainsim have a T7 model, but not a VC as yet, but it will arrive soon enough.

You could always try the captain sim version http://www.captainsim.com/products/x727/ I know the CS products might not off such fidelity as PMDG, but then, who does?

For those still complaining about logging into a website and asking to be verifiied to get essentials. Its not exactly going to be a burdon on your day. Its quite simple, the order number in the signature is the users responsibilty and as such has no bearing on the REX forum, only if you want support. By having a post where people request to be verified, it allows the forum admins to create a large database of people who have paid for REX so that they can distribute once its released.

I have to agree with you Chock, I see this every year and think, Screw it I should go, but id only end up spending more money getting there, than I actually would in the place.. Justflight them selves are making the 800XP. And the JF 146 is the CLS one, and I seriously hope their cockpit textures are better than the ones on their 767.

Track IR and the proclip can be just as expensive as a yoke and throttle quad. I have owned TrackIR for about 3 months now, and only as recently as last week have I started using it and thats in Rise of Flight. The proclip and the wire just seems to get in the way, but aftermoving to a wireless headset, a single wire for the proclip has become very bareable.

because you havent responding to the ATCs instructions they have canceled your IFR flight plan. At this point you're flying on your own. A couple of tricks either reload the IFR flight plan, if you are flying by GPS, you'll need to adjust your heading before loading otherwise your aircraft will begin to turn towards its start destination. If you absolutley have to leave the pc for some reason, When you get handed off to another controller, roger the command and tune to the next controller, but dont call in, you are then free to leave the pc for as long as you like without losing your IFR flightplan.

I am trying to find a way in which I can place all of my VA aircraft in the same menu. Sure i could just change the UI_typerole 'commercial airline' to UI_typerole 'BAV' Is it possible to just change it this way, will the BAV then appear in the aircraft type on the select aircraft screen? Would it be possible to just change the line like so UI_typerole 'Commercial Airline' 'BAV' so that the aircraft would be in its original subheading but also in a new one as well. It never intended to be a personal attack, My first reply was infact a well balanced opinion of the system he wants. I myself am no bill gates, but what I know i have taught myself.

He wanted a well balanced and constructive opinion. It annoyed me that his bread winning ways is based on the very finer details of someone else finances, but didnt take the same approach in something he knows very little about.

Its quite difficult to fry modern chips unless you put them in a deep fat fryer. Motherboards these days will shutdown before the cpu burns itself out, reset the overlock to default settings and reboot.. Within the space of 30 seconds

Well im sorry if this offends, but as an accoutant, you havent been very analytical. the 2700k chip has an unlocked multiplyer, which by design is made for overclocking. This tells me that you've gone on some computer website and chosen some of the most expensive peices of hardware without a thought for what they actually do. If i ever need an accountant, Ill know where not to look!
