  1. Like Ryan said it is a bug and they will look into it.
  2. I'm very curious now! Can you tell me more about it, what is the purpose of it?
  3. Pulsating landing lights? Never heard of them. You sure you aren't confused with the strobes?Regards,Daniel Verhaal
  4. If I'm right the autopilot does need both IRS' to be operational. If one of the two fails you have to revert to manual flying. But I don't have the FCOM available at the moment so I'm not sure.Kind regards,Daniel Verhaal
  5. It's all about "keeping the ball in the middle". With other words: stay coordinated when making a turn. And the yaw damper does that for you, no need for manual input. Assymetrical thrust is usefull on the tarmac making a nice sharp 180 turn. I don't think it's used in normal flight ops as it has the same yawing effect as the rudder.Kind regards,Daniel Verhaal
  6. Sorry Nic, I meant page 15.20.1
  7. Check FCOM page 20.15.1 and everything will be explained. Kind regards, Daniel Verhaal
  8. Page 2.1 Cabin Altitude warningPage 2.10 Off Shedule Descent Be sure you look at the 2.10 page. Hope your passengers didn't freaked out too much when you activated their oxygen masks.. Daniel Verhaal
  9. Hi Emmanuel, Apparantly you followed the wrong procedure. The failure "masks deployed" was active because you did that manually by following the wrong procedure. The correct procedure for "off schedule descent" is to redial the present FL. in the FLT ALT window. Kind regards, Daniel Verhaal
  10. Is there any way to see in what mode you currently are? alt inv or vnav? Kind regards, Daniel
  11. it looks like a grey square Daniel
  12. They put the EEC in alternate mode. If I remember right there is no overspeed protection in that mode anymore. But please check the FCOM for al the nice details ;-) @ Jamal
  13. There is no "off" for the EEC's
  14. It is not simulated because of the reason John pointed out. I'm just wondering what will happen if you just flick the start switches and levers at the same time. Will the engine start just like in the NGX? Regards, Daniel Verhaal
  15. How do you know there is pilot in the room? ..... Don't worry, he will tell you!
  16. Rebooting you pc is a very dramatic solution that works for almost everything :-) Daniel
  17. If I'm correct the TAT doesn't have to be the same on all aircraft because it also takes the shape of the temp probe into account. It's the SAT you are interested in. That is the Saturated Air Temperature and it should be the same in every aircraft flying in the exact same conditions. This value is also importent for performance calculations. Kind regards, Daniel
  18. Hi Emmanuel, Sorry, I only can find some posts about some heat "problems" occuring after take off. Can you tell me if this "ground" issue is really an issue or something else? Regards, Daniel
  19. The only "problem" I have with the brakeheat simulation is that is doesn't seem to cool down on the ground. E.g. when the brakes temps are indicating 2.9 it will stay at 2.9 for hours. Even with a outside temperature of just 20 degrees celcius. When taking off again it will cool down eventually. Anyone else have noticed this? Kind regards, Daniel Verhaal
  20. I compare it mainly with the Boeing flightmanuals and a couple of FFS flighthours (haven't flown the real 737NG yet) and with some comments of current 737NG drivers on this forum. Just to be clear, it is absolutely not my intention to offend anybody from PMDG. I have a big respect for their whole approach and skills. But I do really hope they will admit something is not completely right with the flightmodel in the approach/landing state. I also hope that it will be not too difficult to "fix" this but then again, I'm not an software engineer ;-) Kind Regards, Daniel
  21. No offence, but I trust the Boeing manual! :-) And it says that the attitude on final approach with Vref30+5 should be 2.4-3.6 where I and a lot of other people get 0 everytime. It also says that the touchdown attitude should be just below the 5 degrees whereas i get no more then 2 or I will float the whole runway. And yes, I'm looking at the -800 model, trust me! ;-) Kind regards, Daniel
  22. You need some help with your fight in two days or can you handle it by yourself? No kiddin', it would be great if you can check it out on the real thing, even though the manuals are really clear about it. Kind regards, Daniel Verhaal
  23. I tried an automatic go-around last night (hotfix3) and had the same behaviour as seen in my video. :-( Kind regards, Daniel Verhaal
  24. How many fps did you gain when using the ISFD over the analog version if I may ask? I did just two flights after the hotfix and had no problems regarding the panel freezes. On approach I there was some stutter though for a couple of seconds which I didn't have before. Daniel Verhaal
