  1. That one will come obviously, with the systems/model behaviour of a classic standard airliner in msfs. Promised.
  2. As long as it is whining about the stabilizer motion, I would say this is the least scamshaped object from their MSFS production base. Hey, at least they know the regular formula 757/767/777 brown and all is good enough with stock 747 systems ended with impopularity... let's try the 717 route! Smart. I would say Captain Smart.
  3. Hi there, I am having a 12900K and 4090RTX same for FG upgraded it from 3080ti. I am waiting for intel 14900K to tune in and see what it does and how it compares to both 13900K and the 7800X3D/7950X3D. Could become a winner until 2025 lineup comes.
  4. TLOD is main fps eater. On my rig I see little effect by OLOD. TLOD kicks in the sim goes bam like a brick. However, speaking of OLOD. Is TLOD compulsory for higher OLOD and by what margin??? If whatsoever.. I will test that! What about TLOD 100 and OLOD 200? Is that like trying to have more coffee in a small cup???
  5. Hi Juan, In p3d.cfg folder you can edit the line Max_Texture_Size=4096 To 2048 or 1024. Regards, Peter
  6. The epic cockpit is the most epic systems upgrade possible for an epic airplane still flying epic routes with epic cargo for epic customers around our epic world. 2024 cannot become more epic than this, besides a new epic 14th gen cpu PC🤣🤣 of course.😍EPIC😍
  7. Nice video. P3D is very much still alive. Keep it going. Peter
  8. I guess Mathijs will provide us with plenty of those.
  9. My prognose on the ETA'S 1. A330 - 10-11/2023 2. 757- 12/2023 3. A300 - 12/2023 4. A319/A321 - 05/2024 5. 777 - 06/2024 6. MD-11 09/2024 7. Fokker 70/100 - 09/2024 8. MD11 - 12/2024 9. 737 EFB - 12/2026..12/2100, I think surely before Star Trek flight commences.
  10. 2024 will be indeed a hot simmer year. Hotter than now for sure.
  11. If that is the case, might be gobsmacked sooner than I thought. They have my blessings. But please, make AI Traffic a godforgiven priority nr. 1 in MsfS 2024. Otherwise the bug section will light up like a Christmas tree on Launch Day.
  12. Still prefer AI enhancement to be gobsmacked with, unfortunately just like seasons out of the box, I think sooner hell will freeze over. This might be actually true, if the ocean currents and jetstream over the Atlantic really are going to shift.
  13. It is 'with all due respect' re****ed that we have to worry about this in a 2020 sim, just like the light flickering in cockpit and many more issues. Sometimes I feel msfs is a polished *** doll. Nice from outside and empty on the inside. Still we fall for its curves. 🤣yesterday I was smacked in the face with its shortcomings. Flying the Fenix A320 what is a wonderful product in such an empty shell at times make me cry.
  14. Get into the choppa!! NOW!😂 I love Arnie. And great shots. Got to play DCS again.
  15. EHAM-EGLL. Good testrun for stutters and overall stability of the sim. Return legs are fun too. Pmdg 737 ngxu KL1000 - KL1001 for instance.
  16. Special effects like chimney smoke from industrial buildings, water coastal waves can cause this too. Orbx has a lot with effects going on, causes a lot slowdown. Observed this when flying from over water to land. Suddenly a seconds long freeze when I flew into southern England, from the North Sea, the same happened when I flew to ESSA. from the moment I left baltic sea the freeze began. There is an ORBX topic about effects. Google it, freezing/ clackton. Effects slider to low is a suggestion at 1 of those topics. I cannot notice substantial differences with this setting. This should solve all your freezes geographically related to this issue. Glad I could help you😀
  17. Try setting effects to low. Everything above causes those nasty lags @ CLN / egss / eggw / egll. Also experienced such freezes near ESSA indeed. Has to do with it.
  18. I went flying from EGLL to EHAM and then back. No AI traffic @ EGLL after return leg. MSFS AI is a joke.
  19. It makes me laugh that the tablet is more desired than all those nice planes we already have in the sim. Jeeze🤣😂😂😂🤣 rofl.
  20. I use p2d cfg affinity mask. 1023/1023. Main thread=1 / Render=8 / Frame=9 / 10 cores in use of which 8 p cores to p3d with the core1 (2nd pcore) main thread / last cores as e-cores (8+9) for the dedicated side schedulers. Occassionally I see all P cores hope close to 100% when Paris and London or New York are loading. But running on 5.1 ghz all p cores / e cores @ 4.0 ghz, the stutter is just max 1 second or so in a period of over a few minutes when loading in. To an amount of a few times or 3. All scenery added in and traffic max 190 airplanes around those busiest regions. Other parts of world no setbacks at all. Special effects are set to min/low due to stutters Clackton area flying into UK.from east/ known behaviour especially with ORBX (tested and not related to AM). Experience is smooth. Fps with the 4090 RTX go now anywhere from 29-40 fps on ground EGLL fully loaded with pmdg and mega airport and around 200 aircaft models + gatwick/stansted/london city/luton/traffic road 15/ boats 40/40. Up to 40-70 fps mid air. VRAM due to high settings and RD shade up to 10 gb from 4.8, hence the 4090 rtx, what a nice addition. Edit: Of course if I would use my old 6700k with 4 logical cores my options would be minimal and I would use only a dedicated min thread scheduler on core 1 and let the other work independently over de other cores. I had blurries back then with fps unlimited. So it appears that when you push for performance with unlimited frames you have to search for compromises because you are forced to limit the fps to give CPU time to render the autogen. Then, FFTF is a nice addition to ease the burden on the ground and increase it in the air. The i9 12900K with 8 p cores runs nearly 100% on the ground at EGLL, so imagine if we had all 16 p cores for that situation, perhaps then we had fluidity up to 100 fps without have to compromise anything because we had enough performance headroom for each load situation in the sim😍. No stutters and no low fps anymore (if you do not count frame generation in as an option, add that and you have enough to stick with). I hope there will be more P cores added in in the future. This will be a huge performance bump for all sims. Of course with the extra E cores added in for multi tasking.
  21. Balkans after the storm, they really added in the 2024 realistic cataclism factor in this update🤣.
  22. Does it need FfTf? P3d v6? I do not use fftf with my i9 12900K running unlimited fps im p3d v5 all scenery loads fine. It was my 6700K that needed the FFTF badly in V4.5. I am stunned we still need it for some in V6 apparently. For me it was mainly because of blurries and autogen missing/ not keeping up. Now however, in V5 I have assigned 8 p cores with main thread core 1 and frame scheduler on 1 e-core and render scheduler on a 2nd e-core. Side apps on remaining 4 e cores. The 8 pcores seem to handle the load quite well. I hope V6 will be optimised no one would have to use this tweak anymore.🙂
