Can you expand on how to adjust the anti lock function? Does this then effect all planes in the game?

I restarted and took down the shadows and there it was.. Smooth again. Kinda weird flying the P51 without a cockpit, shelved... Overall it's the same as the beta with a few additions, $20 bucks for the rest of Hawaii NO....Hopefully there will be some mainland scenery soon, then jets, turboprops and... working ATC, autopilot....O well

Was a beta tester. Beta was Super smooth FPS, never crashed no problems and fun to fly.. Downloaded the new version... Low FPS shudders and froze after about 5 min of flying.Anyone else having these issues?

What does KSMX look like. I've been on the fence about these two products becuase I was using tileproxy now blue sky for my California flying. I like flying over things I know and being able to follow actual landmarks. My problem is the terrain mesh. Really flat everywhere. Which one makes the terrain better? Can someone post a pic of a few airports in California?

Thank you very much. Maybe it's my joystick. It just has a lot of travel in the strut I guess and just dives radically towards the ground when I press the button. Mainly at low speeds is when I have the most probelm. I just want to tap the brakes and it just jams on...I appreciate the quick reply.

The F-18 from the accelleration pack and the Caranado PA46T work perfectly also.. No issues or lag for me. I'm going to guess this is a solid product. Love it.

My cabin pressure dial works sometimes and not others. I actually got the small dial to work the other day... but then it didnt again. I agree some knobs work here and there. My ice door annunicator light works fine. O yea on my suction gauge seems to always register low. I usually gets just into the green during flights but never like I've seen in videos of the real plane.

The question is how far off the Caranado C90 will be off from reality. I found I had to make my own checklist for the PA46T.

When I press the triggle button on my joystick to apply the brakes, for this plane only the brakes almost lock up.. and the plane dives towards the ground... Does anyone know how to relax the brake pressure on this aircraft only?Thanks

Used it with the Caranado 182RG no problems. I have ezdok and didn't really notice any issue with FPS. Ezdok and this seems to work well together.

I've had a few wow moments myself.

I would download and purchase a sound pack for whatever airplane you decide. The TSS and Arezone ones I have purchased have transformed the planes I own.The FSD Seneca and Panther airplanes for me had a bad VC cockpit but the damage model and load out program was great! The PA46T is also a really great plane. as well as anything Caranado makes. Ryanbatcund you should just save that post and always put it in the thread that pops up here like this once a week asking the same thing.. I am guilty of my own post like this as well ;-(

Yea these tend to go south quick and he closes them down. I don't think it possible to talk about Flight right now on the Avsim forum. Gotta wait until another forum is opened. I think all JSkorna and I are doing is getting a thread post count.

For anyone who has had this issue download Gauge Recovery from the Avsim file library. I just did the fx repair for my version of FSX and it solved the problem. Thank you to those who responded.

I installed some effects and texture files for freeware and payware planes recently and something seems to have messed up the engine smoke. The smoke that comes out of the engine when you first start the plan up and if you blow up the P51 from accelleration. Does anyone know what .fx or texture flie which could be corupt?Thank You

You know what that is a great quote and I agree it seems like most people who were down on my posts just wanted to prove their points and make themselves feel better about themselves and their points rather than say anything positive. I will admit that I may have broken that rule also however I never have said anything negative about a specific person unless I was attacked first.I look forward to Flight even though I won't be playing it as much as FSX and will only purchase California stuff unless its super expensive, then no..

I took some time away from posting in any forum for a while and came back here because I got back into FSX. I must say I was not prepared for the forum life. I remember now how it was but had forgotten. I posted in the flight forum some positive comments and it was one of the last posts on there. Which is sad. I know some of my posts on other catagories have appeared pompus or negative, however I guess I didn't realize how they were until after I got gang jumped by other posters correcting my comments or making me feel like a total jerk. Which I hope I am not IRL. I must say it's made me think how there are always some people out there that will just hate me not matter what. That DJ guy hated everything about me, not meant to be a personal attack on him just an specific observation. Now I see moderators at work, and I suppose they are in control so if we like it we stay and if we don't we leave, FSX is great no matter what. But I wanted to go back to the original post of this thread. He got made fun of as well. IMHO...I believe he was trying to say he did not agree with the forum closing down and wanted to protest by puplically stating he was going to leave. I wish if someone posts something that appears negative other people would not just bash that person. Rather not respond or try to see what the person is saying and why. I know there are alot of jerks in here and people who just post trash.. but having a negative point of view sometimes is not a bad thing? I mean I hated XP10 demo and got trashed in that forum becuase of it. I did get some good posts in reply but my intention was not to personally attack anyone. I just hope in the future I can post both positive and negative comments about any given situation and would have moderators support as long as I was not degrading or agressive towards another person. Does a negative post violate the rules?

I forgot how to install the FS9 airplane in FSX. Do you just copy the files in to where they are supposed to go?

You know I've been flying around in the beta these last few days before I loose it. For a low and slow flight game the scenery, graphics, performance, ground detail and easter eggs with animations in the game ain't bad. I was thinking today how sucky the default FSX scenery is. Also how many hundreds and hundreds of dollars I would have to spend to get my FSX looking decent, or at least to the default scenery level of Flight.LOOK I think it's stupid they way they are launching it and the way they are selling the little super expensive pieces and how they have turned this into a game from a sim... I think flying with a mouse or keyboard is stupid and those dumb aerochaches or flight rings you have to fly through are for a 5 year old...But it appears the core system here is pretty awesome.The performance is 30+ at maximum for me and my system if 5 years old..The level of detail in the trees, roads, water, airplane, buildings and airports is pretty dang amazing for a core product. I really have enjoyed flying in FlightAlso the missions I have flown are leaps and bounds of what I have flown in FSX. The experience of a the missions are very real life feeling.Will anyone get rid of FSX for many years to come.. NO.. me neither.. but as a secondary experience I think I'm gonna enjoy it and probably purchase some stuff I am interested in. I mean if you compare the x-plane 10 demo and the Flight Beta Flight wins with a knock out.Peace

To me flight sim is about the act of working with and controlling the airplane in it's environment. For plane makers to enhance that experience is what I would be looking for. If watching movies in the back seat enhances that experience for the user and enough people want it then I say why not?

I have been watching some u-tube videos of flights and training during flights. I agree with you for the most part but many radio communications don't have anything to do with the plane I am flying. They are giving clearances to other planes hundreds of miles away... well at least on the center freq's. I think mostly where you would miss this would be tower and appr/depart freq's. I agree that FSX chatter is better than some random stuff from another state or something but I wish there was a decent sounding ATC program available. I've heard some of whats available and it's really not that good.
