    Many addon install a non registered version of FSUIPC to com with gauges. I always thought it took a registered version to have wideFS active, been using it for years? Anyways WideFS should not be enabled. May and probably would cause hangs. Hope you havnt done a Bunch of uninstalling stuff! :)

    That is a FSUIPC command polling for WideFS on a client computer. Do you have FSUIPC installed? If so, Disable WideFS in FSUIPC.

    Done it! Really liking P3D but I believe at this point its not for the non tech savvy. Only missing one port over I havn't figured out yet. realityXP GNS. They spread that thing all over the place!

    Ive never seen anything that states where you have to install a program,. You could install an addon into Firefox if you so desire! (wouldnt work to good :) Its licensed to the computer and or user.

    I found Bujotes works better with anything less than a 580 video card. Kostas work well with my 580 but wasnt that great with the 570 I was running. That wasn't scientific just a visual observation. So all are good! :)

    I have worn out the detents on my CH Products throttle quad and they wont send the parts to fix it. "I'm not qualified" @#$$#@$@. I service 1000000 dollar equipment. Cheap plastic crap! My next quad will be a Go Flight.

    Not sure how that would work with the ATI card. Believe it's geared towards Nvidia stuff.

    I'm seriuosly considering Prepar3D but am somewhat confused on the integration of simconnect. I was reading the p3d forum on the issue but still questioning its usage as its very important in my sim network. Can it be used as in FSX for remotly communicating with programs such as ASE and FSCommander.? Brings up another point. What about FSUIPC and WideFS? Never mind on the WideFS, just checked Pete's website. excellent! Dang, gotta buy a liscence for it thats 3 liscences for FSUIPC or maybe not! Thank you Kindly

    Ive run into this and the only way to start is to reload the aircraft. Started succefully many times using the same and correct procedures but it just refuses on occasion unless reloading.

    No autoland you should be disengaging far before DH. Usually 1000 or 1500 ft AGL.

    I agree Word Not Allowed's tweaks are excellent for perormance but it seems the 301 driver is less than optimum for shimmering and AA in FSX.

    I have noticed the MS flying game getting the hockey goal tender protection policy! Protecting the infant child in order to advance an agenda? Kinda strange.

    Just paid 289.00 for an EVGA 570. Waiting for my broken 580 to be RMA! Seen very little difference between the 580 and the current 570.

    If its anything like Nvidia's SLI, it will only gain you a frame or two. I have no issues with VC performance and is very much tied to the computers specs. With a less powerfull computer, you should try using the lower quality texture bitmaps in the PMDG setup or not use high resolution VC in FSX if performance is what your after.

    How did you get rid of the runway texture flashing etc?

    Video Card? I used that driver and never had an issue. I just lost a GTX 580 VC and had a similiar scenerio! Istead of BSOD I just got a black screen. Then rebooted to black screen. Does the computer boot in safe mode with video but you try to install the drivers and get those errors? If so, the OS isn't seeing the video card.
