  1. I have been searching for a PFPX-profile for the LES Saab 340A without luck for quite some time. I am aware that there is a profile for a Saab 340B in PFPX, but I would like to use the correct settings to get accurate fuel calculations and flight times. Do any of you know of a profile for the LES Saab 340A? Thanks
  2. IPACS posted a new screenshot on their Facebook yesterday. This looks amazing, and seems to be nearing completion! Link: https://www.facebook.com/Aerofly.Flightsimulator/
  3. Thanks for sharing stories everyone! My worst flight was also my very first flight in a general aviation aircraft. The plane was a Cessna 182, and at 3300 feet I and two others would jump out of a flying plane with a parachute for the first time. Before you jump, the pilot navigates the airplane to the right position, while you sit with your back against the right side instrument panel with your instructor sitting in front of you. Sitting there, waiting for the instructor to open the door is not a very pleasant situation. The very obvious fear of the situation is very intense, but the fact that you do not know when the door will be opened adds a lot tension. For the first three or so jumps, the flight is not at all enjoyable, but after that it starts getting fun!
  4. This is a really great initiative! I'm not making content for Outerra myself, but I'm sure more gifted individuals than me will benefit from this Wiki! Great work!
  5. Hi v, thanks for the guide, I will definitely have a look at you method
  6. Hey Jorn, thanks a lot for your reply. Sorry I haven't replied, the project got on hold some time back and I haven't had the time to dust it off yet so this thread completely slipped through my memory Thanks for the link, ill have a look at that. The airport is Aarhus Airport, but I haven't made much progress.
  7. Hello everyone! I'm trying out WED to build a airport in Denmark, but I'm having some problems finding orthophotos to help development. I have found an .ecw image, which I have converted to .tiff using ERDAS ER Viewer 14.0. But when I try to import it into WED I get an error saying: "Unable to open image file" Is there any way I can get the image to import or do I need new orthophotos? If so, where can I find them? Thanks!
  8. Shots like this one makes me confident that Outerra has true potential!
  9. Simply beautiful shots! :Applause:
  10. I got to agree with you Brandon, haven't seen something that beats that video. It's simply beautiful!
  11. Really great news! P3D is quite a beautiful sim, but at times it's pretty hard on my machine. Lets hope v2.3 changes that
  12. I very much agree with you, I have the exact same problem. In both V1.4, 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 i see non performance related microstutters. FSX however runs like a charm... This could definitely be vsync related

Amazing video Rob! Really beautiful! This have probably been mentioned before, but are you using any aftermarket clouds? Cheers
  14. Chan, thanks for describing tessellation, really cleared things up!
  15. Thanks a lot for the head's up! The terrain do look better IMO, and the bloom effect is awesome!
  16. First of all ,I think this is a great initiative, and I really hope you come up with something  For me the most essential things is: Performance - A sim that has good smoothness, and can really utilize modern hardware Better physics - I want to feel like I'm actually flying the airplane If you got these points, I believe that people will eventually switch over
  17. I tried to modify the file, but with no luck... I'm just gonna purchase the new AIRAC cycle when it's released ^_^ Thanks for your answers
  18. Thanks for the reply  I guessed that I could fix it by purchasing a new AIRAC cycle. I found out that in the FMC EKBI doc in the SIDSTAR folder i can modify the specific SID, so i'll look into that later today  Cheers
  19. Hello fellow Captains! B) I have a small problem with the FMC in the NGX When I select a SID departing from runway 27 at EKBI (Billund Airport, Denmark), it's like the FMC thinks the runway heading is different. A bit hard to describe so I took a screenshot: It's like this with almost all the SID's from runway 27... Here is the correct procedures: http://www.slv.dk/Dokumenter/dsweb/Get/Document-1503/EK_AD_2_EKBI_SID_RNAV_27_1_en.pdf Do you guys have any idea how the correct this?? Thanks
  20. Great, thanks!
  21. Hello all I purchased the NGX about a week ago and it truly is amazing! But I found out that the STARs for EKCH (Kastrup, Copenhagen) in the FMC do not match the STARs on the charts published by the Danish aviation authority... I'm thinking this could be because the FMC uses old data?? Would it be corrected if I bought a navigraph update?? Thanks
  22. Every 61 seconds FSX recalculates the lighting, maybe that could be it? This can be bypassed by dividing the processes across the cores, so try setting the affinitimask to 14 in the .CFG Hope it helps
  23. Beautiful screenshots! Just wondering what your system specs are?
  24. Hey guys, I just bought the system listed above except for the HDD: I went with a 1TB Western Digital® Desktop Blue, instead of green
