RC Re-Activation
Good Morning Ray! That's actually the weird thing. When JD says it's been processed, I am sure that he's correct. Still nothing here. I had the SPAM Filter in suspicion right from the start but I checked the settings and content three times over now. Also nothing changed. I verified that it is still the same mailadress (it is) and I even checked if I had my name spelled correctly. The germans have the funny "u" with dots on it (ü) which is sometimes not recognized. But to make sure this wouldn't be a problem I spelled my last name the international way when I bought RC4.3 (Mueller instead of Müller). In the past I did everything the same way I did now... except... coming to think of it: the first time (this round of reinstalling my Sim) I used the wrong Mailadress (the wrong standard addy set in outlook). I then sent the request with the right Mailaddy again. Is THAT the problem? I read the FAQ and it said there, that you would have to do a lot more to change your registration credentials. Should I be sending an e-mail containing all the infos Ronzie wrote in his reply to set things straight? Thanks again! Peter

RC Re-Activation
Hi and thank you for the swift reply. Maybe I did express myself wrongly. Nothing has changed since I bought RC4.3. The activation procedure, that usally worked very well, does not seem to produce the required answer with the key. I have sent several mails using the interface, also I contacted the developer via the Mail you provided and read the pinned topic a few hours ago. It's been a few days now but no reply. Usually I'd get a reply within a few minutes. I manually wrote the e-mail now... I'll wait and see what happens. I will report back. Cheers, Peter

RC Re-Activation
Good evening! I am too in a - sort of - desperate need of a reactivation. I've tried every other way - so far no luck. I finally "stumbled" about this thread and would like to ask if there's a chance to apply for a reactivation here? Of course I can send all the required credentials to verify that my RC version is genuine and legit. Regards, Peter

PMDG Product download sloooooow...
Well... right now I'm downloading with about 40 kb/s. Plus it's not the first time, that the D/L with PMDG is slow. But yes, maybe you are right... maybe it's simply bad luck and along the way the data-highway has there's a snail-lane for my data-packages... I will hone my patience-skills... just over 6 hours left. I guess I will stay grounded for now

PMDG Product download sloooooow...
Hi fellow virtual aviators! Is it normal, that the DL from PMDG is so dead slow?! It says I need 8 more hours for the PMDG 737NGX Base Pack!? I checked my line... it's all smooth and well. Has anyone a similiar experience? It's really driving me nuts. I had to re-buy the P3D version as I just quit FSX... now it will take the better part of the night to download that stuff. I'd expect a bit more bandwidth for paying customers... *sigh* Peter

Navigraph S550 Citation II FMS Extension Pack | video review and test flight
Hello fellow aviators! Glad to see I'm not the only one having trouble with the S550. The FMS addon took AGES updating the database (new AIRAC). I also found that I would have to reduce the range on the nav display to 1 in order to achieve a usable framerate. The cluttering on is quite massive with no option to reduce it. Takes a massive hit on my frames too. I guess we'll have to wait for the first service pack. I am certain, that the guys over at Carenado will get the bugs ironed out. Happy landings!

PMDG BAe JS4100 - Displays dark, Levers not animated/not moving
Hi Erich, no news on my end. I am still in touch with the PMDG support and I have yet to try another solution they offered but haven't had the time yet. The ultima ratio would be setting up Win7 again... but I am not there yet. I'll keep you posted, should a solution arise. Best of luck till then! Cheers, Pete

PMDG BAe JS4100 - Displays dark, Levers not animated/not moving
Just in case anyone coming across the same problem, I'd like to report what I've found out sofar. The problem still exists: when lauching FSX with EZDok, TrackIR, ASN, RC4, FS2CREW Voice Edition and the X52 Saitek Flightstick, the condition levers won't move, the throttle is not animated and the displays remain dark. After testing, un- and reinstalling stuff, filing a ticket with PMDG the problem is still there. I can only get the J41 to work when I stop the ezcam module from loading. If THAT isn't load, EVERYTHING works. This is... pardon my french... driving me batshit crazy, coz I don't understand the how and why. As far as I recall it worked before... but - starting to question my sanity - I am not sure any more. The EZCam add-on is not critical... still it makes the "workplace-simulation" of a cockpit more realistic. Should anybody have another idea - HOLLER! I'm down trying ANYTHING (except for black magic, voodoo and beef jerky... I hate that stuff!) Cheers, Pete

Roger... will do. I'll report back here, if they can present a solution, so others will profit from it too. Thanks so much for your help!

PMDG BAe JS4100 - Displays dark, Levers not animated/not moving
Yep... the PMDG 737NGX, MD-11 and B777 are working w/o problems. Usually I am using EZDok, FS2CREW, Active Sky Next, Radar Contact 4, FS Passengers and FSACARS for online flying. These things are all offline or uninstalled right now.

PMDG BAe JS4100 - Displays dark, Levers not animated/not moving
Unplugged the X52, deleted the throttle axis and deactivated FSUIPC (Version 4.858; unregistered) - situation is unchanged - but I appreciate the idea! Keep em coming Ah... and one thing I should have mentioned before... the yellow caution light is flashing and the aural warning is audible, I also can depress the button to cut-out the warning, but it won't cease pinging and flashing. This is all very strange... Could it be something with the license? I didn't buy the A/C via PMDG but from a company called "aerosoft" - a seller in germany. They are licensed and so all should be fine... still this reminds me of a licensing issue I had with the PMDG 777... lights out in midair because the mobo-timer was erratic (or something like that).

PMDG BAe JS4100 - Displays dark, Levers not animated/not moving
Hi vonmar and thanks for the swift reply. I am using the Saitek X52... all axes are unprocessed by fsuipc. My default flight is the standard cessna on an airfield of my choice. Until now (doing this stuff for some years now) I simply loaded the free flight menu, entered the desired parameters (DEP, Time, A/C etc.) and startet the flight. For my current problem I tried the J41 tutorial flight as well (the one starting at KHPN), but no luck so far. Peter

PMDG BAe JS4100 - Displays dark, Levers not animated/not moving
Hi fellow airmen/airwomen, I am in desperate need of help regarding the J41. Something changed... and now the aircraft is unusable. When I load the J41 (no matter from where I load it or which flight I choose) the VC behaves strange. The condition levers for example are stuck in the most forward condition (flight) and I can't move them. Same with the throttles. The main displays remain dark as well. Even when I have the GPU connected or the engines running (which I can only achieve by loading the J41 after I loaded a standard FSX aircraft with running engines before). The even stranger part: clicking the condition levers and moving the mouse while holding the mouse button actually changes the props pitch. Moving the throttle also causes a increase in thrust... but the levers won't budge in the VC. At first I supsected FS2CREW Voice Control. Then EZDok. Now I took the previous night to delete FS X in total and start anew. No luck. The problem persists... even tho I have no FS2CREW and no EZDok installed anymore. Track IR isn't active either. I don't know what else to do and I have spent hours in trying to find an error. Even re-reactivating the J41 wouldn't do. I need a hint. Even the smallest or furthest fetched idea is welcome. I tried so many workarounds that I am starting to question my own sanity... not that there's a lot to lose. Thank a lot in advance! Regards, Peter

Can't remove stop latches
Hello fellow Flightsimmers, unfortunately I am - all of a sudden - stuck with this very problem. I use FS2CREW on the NGX and now want to upgrade as many A/Cs as possible with this great product. My newest aquisition is the Voice Control for the J41. I had a rather long day researching the problem and its solutions and came to my wit's end. The Problem: after loading the PMDG J41 with FS2CREW Voice Control some parts of the (virtual) cockpit are non-functional. The throttle levers aren't moving, even worse the condition levers won't budge - making a proper startup impossible -, the flaps lever will only move to the first setting (9) and the displays are dark. I searched the PMDG support forum and the FS2CREW forum for a solution. The ones suggested didn't do the job. I even took the time to reinstall FS X... which is quite a feat and took some hours now. The PMDG J41 worked fine till I installed and FS2Crew. I never had this problem before. As an additional addon I use EZDok... this posed no problem before and when uninstalling EZDok the problem persists. Maybe someone has a clue... otherwise I won't be able to use FS2CREW on this aircraft... which is atm NOT an option. Thanks & Cheers, Peter

A/P semi-unresponsive... EZDOK? FS2CREW?
Hi winged532 and many thanks for your input! I will bear that in mind next time the problem occurs. I had to make a fresh installation of fsx... kinda sucks, but seems to be the last thing to resort to... and was kinda high time too. Happy landings!

A/P semi-unresponsive... EZDOK? FS2CREW?
Found it... I think. The FSUIPC module caused the problem. Deleting it from the Modules folder all probs were gone... strange. Never ever had any trouble with FSUIPC.

A/P semi-unresponsive... EZDOK? FS2CREW?
Geez... this whole issue is way bigger than I expected. It may not be a BIOS-Clock related issue after all... somehow the airport LGAV causes TrackIR and EZDOK to cease working... along with the aircraft. I am so absolutly clueless about what to do next... :( I checked out other airports... they do not seem to pose a problem. I will keep searching... there's got to be a solution to this.

A/P semi-unresponsive... EZDOK? FS2CREW?
It took up the better part of my night to look into this and it seems as if I'm not the only one having the issue... and there seems to be a solution. The A/C folllows the designated VNAV and LNAV profile up to a certain point (in space and/or time) when the A/P stops working properly: it won't follow the LNAV profile, the A/C is not manually maneuverable along the longitudinal axis BUT along the lateral axis. A/T, LVLCHG working but no HDGSEL. Displays working fine. Saving/reloading or loading a A/C state via the FMC does not help. This occured twice into a approx. 3hr flight close to T/D once in the B777 and before that in the B737NGX - always the same picture. Oh, external view is working too, but no view in the VC wil work. Even TrackIR and EZDOK cease to work. The aircraft switches from guided flight to a braindead and straight soaring on a soft glideslope right into the ground. What I found out so far: it seems to be an BIOS-clock issue and involves (somehow) the "live-licensing" of the A/C. Somehow a discrepancy between the HW-clock and the OS-clock causes the PMDG to kick in some sort of anti-piracy protection. I simply switched off the internet sync for my OS-clock and voila - I am about 30 seconds behind (well the OS is... I am rather far far more behind than that ) Anyways, I will now refly the exact route (oh joy! 3hrs por nada!) and see what happens. Oh and I unknowingly followed your advice some days earlier and took a different route to a different location: everything went well. After I have retraced the route of last night I will - given the problem persists - try your other advice and take a different route. I will report back, in case someone else has this weird issue. Thanks a lot for your input! I shall now roam the streets in search of a very, very, veeeery strong coffee or other legal substances having a similar effect and get back to work. Cheers, Peter Mueller

A very strange autopilot problem
Hi Shlomy8, erh... you sync the BIOS clock? How would I do that? I have a similar problem. The only thing I could think of thus far was to switch off the internet sync of my OS clock as the OS reads the HW clock on boot iup. Do you have a better way? Maybe a tool of some sorts? Many thanks in advance! Peter

A/P semi-unresponsive... EZDOK? FS2CREW?
Hi flightsim community! I did quite some hours on the 777 and the 737NGX... and all of a sudden - with no apparent reason or changes to my system or the installation - the autopilot behaves erratic. It happened twice on a 3hr flight from EDDL to LGAV. At one of the last waypoints - short before reaching the T/D - the autopilot flies straight on instead of following the LNAV profile. First I thought it was FS2CREW in the 737 NGX that killed the A/P. But nah... tonight it happened again in the B777. All other applications seem to disconnect or fail. This goes for EZDOK, FS2CREW (in the 737) and TrackIR. I don't know if this is happening EXACTLY at the waypoint or somewhat before but ALWAYS at the end of a annoyingly long flight. I usually have no OOM issues or other probs with the FSX. I used the default "cold and dark" state of the B777, on a networked PC there's FSCommander and FSACARS running via WideFS. On the Host PC OPUS, TrackIR and EZDOK. I never had this issue before. Not with the B777 or this particular airport or any other airports. Does anyone has the same or similar issues? I just found that guy that said, his bios-clock was off game and that this was the culprit... but mine is fine (or is it??! Damn! :( ) Thanks in advance and happy landings! Cheers, Peter Mueller
