Use "Insert" key (above "Supr" key) to enter the "Drone" camera, then to move is a bit orthopedic, use W, A, S, D to move any direction, R, F, to up & down. Then use key pad numbers 2, 4, 6, 8 to rotate de camera. Key pad nº5 returns to your plane. At the ingame menu (the little triangle above your screen) you can select the "camera" icon and select the speed for your drone translation and rotation movements. The the are some fancy modes using the Function Keys (F1, F2...) to apply effects. To get back to your pilot seat, press "End" key.

For the Store version I use, you need to modify existing o creating a new shortcut.

To launch faster try run this: C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App -FastLaunch Make a shortcut in Desktop and run it.

Back to topic, did you use the trick to load without the opening cinematics? It saves some seconds...

I was in the Alpha, but forget to do this test (I don't bought the sim, yet). I dont' know if performance gain is enought by the money (RAM is getting cheaper, take a look next months). But if anyone with 64GB or 32GB can do a test without removing any slot, you can do it natively under Windows: msconfig -> Boot -> Advanced options -> Maximum memory (in megabytes) 8192=8GB 16384=16GB 32768=32GB Look for "msconfig ram limiting" at Google for references.

I supouse it could help to avoid some stutters, not enought RAM need to read and load from HDD/SSD to RAM again so often that can you apreciate it like losing FPS.

Resources are there to be exploted. Like RAM, this sim uses it at all, only a few hundres of MB are left to avoid paging (using HDD/SSD like more RAM, but a lot slower). But there you will need room for any kind of addons to breath. You will need more RAM for a future demanding scenery or more VRAM for a future Orbx textures... At least nowadays, apps can optimize resources by loading unloading unused textures and stuff like that to run fine.

What about charts? They will be out of the box for all products?

For the Inisder Program, you should have a confirmation mail from MS, mine is from mid-August 2019. I'm not invited yet.
