  1. Yes I have this exact situation happen. It happens less the less moving traffic i have at the airports. Either way, its a problem. And mostly on dx12 for me.
  2. I've narrowed mine down to AI traffic. Any time planes are taxiing, landing or taking off, my fps takes a big hit. So i turned that down/off and it helped. Statics really doesn't seem to cause the stutters.
  3. I'm just confused. I didn't even know 2000 was an option. I thought it was 0-10.
  4. It happens on dx11 also. I just noticed that the impact is not as bad as dx12.
  5. Yes its hit or miss and its worse with dx12 i've found. Which sucks because i think dx12 is more fluid....when its not dropping to 15fps and stuttering. Its like it gets stuck and some times recovers to normal frames and sometime it won't.
  6. I have the bouncy issue at cruise sometimes and none of my assistance is on. Double checked. I can be climbing smoothly and as soon as the plane levels out, the bouncing starts. Same on initial decent, bouncy at cruise then as soon as the decent starts, it stops.
  7. I have this stuttering as well. From my tests, it seems to be AI traffic related. The reason your night flight was smooth is because there was less traffic to load. The more traffic at an airport, the worse my stutters have been. Turned AI traffic off, its smooth on approach again. It sucks to have to fly in an empty world, but its something asobo needs to figure out.

  9. a pilots life has been good for me because its straight to the point. All about the airliner career life. No working your way up to flying bigger planes or starting in a C172. Also its pretty flexible as far as when and what you fly. And many airlines to choose from with real life routes.
  10. I'm just going to take a break until server traffic dies down. Good thing i'm about to go on work travel, so when i get back, i need every one to be bored again lol Just tried a flight out of KORD and it was an absolute stutter fest during taxi and climb out. Arrived at KMSN which isn't even a heavy airport but photogrametry and another stutter fest on approach.
  11. Don't feel bad, I think its the sim. I was on a flight to montreal last night and my sim started constant single digit frames drops on approach to the point where I crash landed because it was a slideshow.
  12. You don't have to clear it because it will mess up the update, but you may need to do so if something in there is causing issues after the update. Just purely for the update it self? No.
  13. You aren't doing anything wrong. Cpt_piet posted a video on the first page that shows the behavior we are talking about.
  14. This. I don't think the turbulence is the issue. Its had this twitchy side to side tail behavior since day one.
  15. I'm not a real pilot, but i think i get what OP is saying. Its not really that the wings are dipping, its more like the plane is just moving side to side while staying horizontal. From what i see, MSFS seems to be very twitchy in the horizontal stabilizer area, even on heavier aircraft.
  16. I noticed something like this as well, and its been doing it before this update, but when I do speed intervene and set my speed lower than my current speed, the plane will actually increase throttle for a little while causing the plane to speed up first, then slow to my new set speed.
  17. This is happening to me even outside of beta. I have been having it happen at KJFK. So i don't think its a beta issue.
  18. In my opinion, this has to do with the fact that msfs was a new shiny toy in the beginning. Most people were just trying it out because it was there and never experienced a flight sim. Most of these new people will get bored quickly of flight simming. Only the hardcore people remain now. The numbers still show were most people like to fly at the end of the day.
  19. My windows 11 experience summary, i'm happy I did. So I upgraded to a 5800x3d recently and ran cinebench, low scores, couldn't figure out why. I updated to 11 today and now my scores are what they should be. Also, cinebench was seeing my 5800x3d as 6c/12t, the specs for my old 3600. This is a 8c/16t cpu and since the update its reading that way, with the higher scores. Also in the sim, its so smooth now and I noticed the work is spread on all cores in dx12 while with windows 10 it was not. So i don't know if something wasn't updated when i changed cpus in windows 10 and now that i updated to 11, it updated something related to the 5800x3d? Either way my cpu is using all cores now and i got a performance bump when switching to 11. Wish I had done it sooner. No issues with MSFS, even better now.
  20. I can guarantee this is a CPU bottleneck issue. Same happened to me when I upgraded my 1080ti to a 3080 and was still running my ryzen 3600. At smaller airports with no traffic, all was great, as soon as I went to KJFK for example with AIG and taxiing around, FPS would tank to 15fps and would not move no matter what I did short of restarting the sim and not turning the traffic on when i went back to KJFK. CPU couldn't keep up in that situation. Upgraded to a 5800x3d, all was well in that scenario again. So considering you have a 4090 which is in a different league, that CPU just can't keep up. And add the fact that you are only running at 1080p, that makes the CPU bottleneck worse with a beast GPU like that.

  22. Has anyone else have notice this? So i did a quick flight from Seattle to Vancouver just to test. I left seattle and had traffic taxiing, taking off, landing and such, also had my normal multiplayer traffic with tags. By the time i arrived to vancouver, there was no traffic at all, not even multiplayers, no tags in the sky or anything. Thats not normal, especially at vancouver right now with people exploring the new canada world update. I just did this same flight over the weekend and had traffic. last night, none at all. This also happened to me at KATL. Does this have to do with the amount of objects loaded or something, I've never had this happen with AIG injector.
