Hi guys, as title says. Which is your technique? I have no problem when try to land manually after passed 1000' AGL, disconnect A/P and A/T and land safely enough. But if I want to practice manually all the approach from IAF to FAF I have a lot of difficulties to keep the aircraft on correct glide path. I try to maintain the G/S adjusting the throttle and pitch manually, but most of the times I am to high on final and with an incorrect pitch configuration. The aircrat upon on final regains altitude and I have to make a go-around. How do you perform your manual landing with this great aircraft? Thanks in advance, Ric

So, this is not my first run-in with this issue and I'm out of ideas on how to eliminate it. During most flights with the 777 I configure the aircraft while at a gate, setting all criteria including CoG. Usually while taxiing or on the runway I'll see the pitch trim lever spike to full nose down. Sometimes I can click the lever back to centered and it will remain, sometimes I literally need to fight with it until it stays centered. Frequently this occurs during my TO run, causing the MFD warnings and spoiling the experience. I have: Purged any custom configurations, panel states, etc Deleted the trim axis from my flight controller setup for ALL aircraft (in the sim general settings) Removed elevator trim from FSUIPC, as well as creating an aircraft specific profile that disables elevator trim axes. My trim lever still jumps on its own. Typically during cruise I will see this again, as evidenced by porpoising during cruise. What I cannot figure is what is sending these signals to the sim; I experienced this both in my FSX installation and now in P3dv4.1, so I am convinced it's not the 777 but something on my pc or hardware. I'm open to any and all suggestions

Hi there, I just installed the 777 for p3d v4, but the tilt or pitch, whatever I should call it, of the forward viewpoint in the default captain seat vc seems pitched too high compared to the one in v3 for some reason. Can I change it so it looks down a bit more by default? I forgot how, and I can't seem to find any threads that explain how to do it. When I go into the aircraft.cfg I don't see a camera definition for the captain seat, so I'm not sure which one to edit. Thanks for all of your hard work over there, John

1st ever new topic post... definite newb! Have been a successful mouse pilot up til now. Just plugged in my saitek cyborg evo force and thought I'd try it out in Flight. Took off from Honolulu and had to fight the software wanting to pitch my nose up for 5 minutes before I quit in disgust. Please advise me of possible remedies to fix the saitek cyborg evo force pitch up problem. Off-topic - I love the helpful and friendly attitudes of 99.9% of ppl on AVSIM! Love your work!

Hi, I recently bought 747-400X for FSX on the DVD payware. I am totally stunned by the virtual cockpit and exterior models. They are fantastic. However I have a vertical pitch related issue, which stops me from really flying the plane altogether. I can takeoff well, everything goes to plan, but when I get to about 5000 ft, the vertical movement is uncontrollable. In other words, when I push my joystick down nothing happens. If I let go altogether the plane pitches at 30 degrees or so, ascending up to 20000ft a minute, and soon stalls. The pitch is reversed, descending at 30 degrees up to 20000ft a minute. Again the controls are useless. I end up crashing. I try to engage the autopilot to but the CMD buttons don't engage, and I have no control. I was very interested to find that the aircraft.cfg has no autopilot section also. I know the problem is not with the joystick. I have flown many different types of planes, not all the default FSX planes, some custom ones, and there has been no problem. I can fly this, then crash due to lack of vertical control (the lateral movement is very controllable), and then fly the FSX B737-800 and be completely fine. Please can someone help me, I really do love this plane, well worth the money, but I cant fly it at all, because the pitch and the autopilot are uncontrollable. Thank you.

This is realy strange. I have some pitch related issue with NGX only, for approx. 1 week. On take off, i can't rotate above 7-8 degrees pitch up, becouse i will lose too much speed. Usualy(one week ago), i needed arround15 degrees pitch up to mantain V2+20. Now, i need to keep it above 8 degrees for V2+20. I checked weights, flaps settings, temps, engine RPM and gear up. It happens with NGX only. I never heard about similar issue, so, any suggestions before i completely re-install NGX?
