What a truely ridiculous thing to say. The two models are about as far apart as FS9 and FSX are. Even coming from me; one of those who puchased, but then chose to return the ES Cit-X for refund, I cannot standby without mentioning that comment. The only reason I returned mine, was that I didn't like the VC, not that it was inacurate, or didn't work - I just didn't like it (the beauty of purchasing with the F1 wrapper). If I were a great Citation-X fan and had to have one, it would most definately be the Eaglesoft version. It has an outstanding flight model and a dream to hand fly.I only flew the Wilco version a couple of times, but still felt an immediate dislike for both the look and the feel of it.
Wow, a customer who simply returned the product, obtained his refund, and refrained from bashing, trashing, or otherwise denigrating a product.Very refreshing in these times. You, and others like you, are the very reason why we chose the F1 Wrapper for our ecommerce and gladly offer the 30 Day Refund Option. :(

Well I have both the Wilco CitationX and the Eaglesoft Citation Xv2 and I have to say that if I stretch my imagination to the land of OZ, I still can't imagine how anyone could even compare the two simulations. The Wilco version is like a toy compared to Eaglesoft's.Since Eaglesoft released the CitationXv2, I haven't even used Wilco's version. It's not even loaded on my computer anymore.I fly in VC all the time using TrackIR and I see nothing at all wrong with the Eaglesoft VC. It looks great, or at least as good as any simulation I have (and I have most all of them).I call Eaglesofts CitationXv2 the "Cadillac/Corvette" of aircrafts because it gives the real feeling of sport luxury that I surly don't get with Wilco's.There is a lot of sims that Wilco has released that I love (the ones made by FeelThere really) and I liked their CitationX until Eaglesoft released the CXv2. Now, I don't know how anyone could be satisfied with it. It's not even in the ballpark.Bob

Many thanks Bob! She'll be quite a bit better with the aforementioned Hotfix 1.82 and the "down the road" surprise for CX 2.0 Extreme owners. We are committed to making the CX 2.0 Extreme the finest Mid Size Corporate Jet ever built for FS. :(

Under what name did you post at the Eaglesoft forums?Never mind... found it. You didn't get a response because there's not enough information in your post to do anything. I've responded there. :)

Ron, you are saying a lot here because it already is the "finest Mid Size Corporate Jet ever built for FS". I'm really serious about that. I love the Xv2. I can't wait to see what you intend to release for it. It is an outstanding simulation...Hay Ron, I have a suggestion for you next corporate release. I seen the new Gulfstream G650 in a pilot magazine and I thought that this would be awesome if it was made by Eaglesoft like the Cessna Citation Xv2!Gulfstream G650

I don't know what kind of computer setup you have or what other programs your running, but I have W7x64 Ultimate and never have any problems with FSX crashing. I have landed the Eaglesoft CitationXv2 many times without any problems at all.If it works great on my computer, how can the crash that you're having be a bug in the Eaglesoft aircraft? The software I'm using is the same as what your using. As a matter of fact, I have owned the FS9 version also since it was released and never had any problems with it either. Both fly great and are very stable on my system.I'm sure if you work with the support over at Eaglesoft, you will get it working.Bob

Many thanks Bob. we know the pimples and warts with the VC and will address that as a free update but will take our own time to get it right so no time frame on that. The nearly complete Hotfix 1.82 will complete the rest of project. :(That Gulfstream can't be made due to their policies.

We are working with Keith but in all fairness we have a lot of folks who have not yet reached the top of the learning curve and still others with Hardware/OS/FS Version issues. We are glad to see you enjoying her on both platforms. :(

The 1.82 hotfix is up and available at eaglesoft.com; a reinstall of the entire package is required. And an improved VC is on the way, too!The list of improvements:Addresses an issue where NDB/VOR frequency selections were improperly used.Completes Custom HoldsCompletes Custom WaypointsCompletes VOR AutotuneCompletes New and Revised DocumentionCompletes Keyboard Shortcut and Text File for Keyboard SupportCompletes Keyboard Shortcut Text File for Goflight/FSUIPC Custom ConfigurationsResolves those issues and adds others to enhance the "enjoyment factor" for your Citation X Extreme 2.0!

GoFlight, Keyboard and FSUIPC support!! Thank you very much Eaglesoft!!Other (to remain nameless) aircraft add-on developers please take note. These interface options along with 2d panels are what cockpit builders need. Support us or not, your option.Once again, thank you and Merry Christmas Eaglesoft!

As an aspiring cockpit builder, +1 to you. And I am going to purchse the Citation X 2.0 now. Seriously, how difficult would it be for that other company to add this stuff?

Actually adding a 2D panel can add significant devlopment time to an already major project. I don't know about the key commands.

It matters not one whit to us what "other vendors" do or do not do as we have our track and they have theirs. It may help to know a bit of FS History as related to an FS CX 750. Abacus had one in their Corporate Pilot Series.Eaglesoft then built our CX V1.0 in 2003. The other vendor did theirs and now Eaglesoft has CX Extreme V2.0.Thanks for for the +1 Grade and Merry Christmas. :(

We wouldn't think of removing Widescreen 2D Panels after pioneering them. The Keyboard Shortcut support does add significant development time to a project. :(
