Hi, guys! I've been working on a new realistic HUD for the Acceleration Hornet for about two months now and it is finally ready :( It is an enhanced version of the original HUD by Scott Printz, who fully supports the new version. I added many new features, including:- Precise ILS and TACAN navigation for aircraft carriers (including moving carriers) that will allow carrier landings in low visibility and at night.- The HUD is conformal to the outside world: Horizon bar stays on the horizon (at sea level), velocity vector shows actual flight path as read against the outside world (if you keep your vector pointed at a certain place on the runway, this is exactly where you will land).- Caged mode with ghost vector for use in heavy side wind conditions.- Elements repositioned to make the HUD look as close as possible to the real Hornet HUD.Here is a short demo of the HUD that includes a night landing and a carrier break landing:

I believe the plane won't work correctly without Acceleration. Acceleration includes some new functionality.

Thanks a bunch...."bug-filled" acceleration huh? I've used it the day it was released without any bugs... For less than the cost of an addon aircraft you get three, plus scenery and other enhancements.... Pretty easy buy imho

So, you are simply repeating rumors, eh? The proper solution would have been to find and fix the problems, not to "uninstall acceleration..."

Well stated Bill! Well stated! It's hard to believe people uninstall Acceleration because someone else is having issues and the individual might be having the same problem (stuttering?)(the blurries?)(CTD's?)(OOM's?). It's got to be Acceleration so they uninstall and install SP2 which has the same coding (except for the modification they had to make so someone couldn't simply copy Acceleration aircraft over and use the free SP2). Oh well! Time to check my blood pressure....Best regards,Jim
