FD works perfectly. However, it still had the same FSUPIC problem from previous versions. When you install the plane, it installs an unregistered version of FSUIPC 4.5 which for me hoses the LNAV and AT modes. The first flight I had the problem, the second flight I reinstalled my registered FSUIPC 4.3 and everything works perfectly, your milage may vary. This bird is an absolute joy to fly, not to mention to look at.

Interesting, on my system, while it did install 4.5 (Which is actually newer then I had installed) I didn't lose my registration data. I have flown the 757 4.4 on a couple of flights and except for a couple of quirks, like the way the landing lights work now, or if you use the mouse wheel to change the speed it spins in large increments. (Works ok with the buttons.) The way the autopilot handled the aircraft was ok. Not perfect though like the LDS-767. On a high degree waypoint turn she will lose altitude, enough to get an altitude warning from ATC, but it will recover by itself. Approach seems good too, but doesn't flare enough (or too late) on autoland to get a really smooth landing like the LDS or PMDG, but not too bad, about 200-300fpm. (Could actually be more realistic, as I'm seldom on a flight that doesn't have at least a moderately bumpy landing.)

Thanks for letting us know. I went ahead and bought the 727 base pack + 727 freighter expansion + C-130 All in one pack. Downloading as we speak.Looks like I will be up late tonight with my new toys :(

I went for the 767, even though I like the LDS-767, only because, when the 767-400 is released, it will probably require the 767 base pack like the other expansion packs. (I picked up a couple of them also!) Also becaise the 400 will require a different panel and VC. will likely be more expensive then the other packs!

Are your saying the FD for the C130 FSX works like a real FD or does it simply act like an OBS repeater for the vertical bar, because that is the problem with the FS9 version. Try this: hand fly an ILS approach with the FD in app mode then let me know how the bars react. If the horizontal bar behaves like a g/p indicator and the vertical bar like a OBS loc then it is modelled wrong like the FS9 version. In that case make sure you know what you're talking about before making statements. If it works as it should thank you for letting me know I might consider buying it.Cheers,Dan

Just got the c-130 All in One Pack, 727-100 base and 767-300 base packs for ~USD 45.00! Unbelievable deals considering I paid about the same for the QW 757 alone! The models are FANTASTIC and all are performing well on my mid level system esp the 727 and C-130. Run, don't walk to this sale!!Only 22 hours left :( !Alex C

Well I don't want to start a pissin contest here but it was not clear to me since I initially asked about the C130, I'm sorry to be a little "slow" but I did READ the comments.I have run into a lot of simmers who think they know everything and will argue about how it should work but have never set foot in a real cockpit. I know most don't care about the FD and never use it but I do because in real life we always use it.I'm glad you know what you're talking about, I didn't want to offend you.Dan

DJSorry for the misunderstanding, I have been referencing the 757 in my replies, I missed your 130 reference.Ryan, screen shots dont do it justice, but here are 2 for the 727. CS sets the standard for cockpits IMHO.....
