December 9, 200916 yr Where is the info on the sale for 12/11?I just went to their site and didn't see anything about it. Is it for all products? Are there restrictions on how many products you can purchase for that price?I would buy the C-130 and the 727 if you are allowed to get both for 9.99, even though I might end up not using them too much.I think CS just put it out in an email. Becareful when ordering, there will be a link on the front page. I remember last year a lot of people went through the normal process of ordering and ended up paying full price.I got the C-130 last year and looks like I'll get the 757-200 and -300 expansion.
December 9, 200916 yr Moderator I went and checked my email and got the notice as well. I rarely check my email, lol.Well, for $15 US you can't beat it. Guess I will be getting the C-130 and 727. Hopefully I wont be having problems with either since I read all the time about their products being troublesome at times. The only Captsim product I have ever owned was the F-104 for FS9 and I had no issues with it.To the OP, thanks for the heads up. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

December 9, 200916 yr I'm seeing more and more specials like this, FSDreamteam provides a few a year too. I think this is a very good business model, lowering your prices a couple of times a year for a day or two. I will be getting the 757 as I wanted it for a while and now it's the time. I wish more developers would do this. Jacek G. Ryzen 5800X3D | Asus RTX4090 OC | 64gb DDR4 3600 | Asus ROG Strix X570E | HX1000w | Fractal Design Torrent RGB | AOC AGON 49' Curved QHD |
December 9, 200916 yr Thanks for the info! I'd like to get the C-130 - looks great. Do you need any sort of online activation in order to install their products? Basically I'm looking for downloads which I can install/reinstall by themselves without any outside verification. My main concern with such verification is - What happens if a company is no longer in business - how do you continue to reinstall the product? Thanks in advance. Howard
December 9, 200916 yr I'm picking up the 757 Freighter pack (even though it is 9.99 anyways, lol). Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
December 9, 200916 yr I'll probably give myself the 757 as an early Christmas present. The base package, -300 extension and freighter package are self-explanatory, but what is the "Block F" thing? December 9, 200916 yr How are these planes performance-wise? I personally would like to get the 727, but I am a little leery about where I can fly it.

The base package, -300 extension and freighter package are self-explanatory, but what is the "Block F" thing? That's for people who bought the original release 757, which had no systems, back when they used the block system Block B. Block F was to be the systems module. Since then they dropped the block system and just sells the Pro Pack and expansion packs. To honor their commitment, the Block F upgrade is essentially the upgrade to the pro pack for those that bought early. If you don't already own the Block B 757, the Block F upgrade is not for you. Just go ahead and get the pro pack. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
December 9, 200916 yr How is the 767. Im not looking for a failure simulator. I jsut want to be able to use EVERYTHING that would be used on any given normal scenario. It looks promising and I would like a nice 767 in my fleet. Also, what about the C-130X. For all the stuff you get for 15 USD, you cant go wrong with getting this one. On the C-130X, are the graphics as good as the 767 and 757 and such? How is the systems programming on the C-130X?Matt FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024
December 9, 200916 yr The C-130 Pro Pack is a must. I picked it up last year when they had the sale.JimI had the FS9 version and didn't like it because of one minor but obvious bug and one major that they never acknowledge, actually even reviewers never mentionned the it: 1. exterior lights will only come ON with engines running, in 27 years of real life flying I have never seen that and suscks for screen shots.2. Biggers issue: the flight director is not modeled like a FD. Even the default FS planes are modeled correctly but CS can't. I have bben flying with the Air Force for 24 years and find it very difficult to change my real life crosscheck to the CS FD.Are those issues fixed in the FSX version? Thanks for sharing your opinions,Dan

It acts like a vor gauge, not a flight director. They ignore all complaints about this. It, and that it is almost impossible to change the HSI course setting by single degree increments in the VC. I had to map a button for it. Still, a very fun plane.

I hate when designers refuse to admit and correct bugs just because they think it`s not important. CDS is the second one I stopped buying from because of that "good enough" attitude.Dan
December 9, 200916 yr I want my CS F-104 for FSX! :( ___________________________I'm just flying for the fun of it.
