i would buy it without a doubt

What if u raised a fund for it?..Everyone who wanted the fs9 would pay something and get a prove of payment with no returns. If not enough to do the development then we could spend it in PMDG other products.Regards, M

Whilst I'd love PMDG to continue to support FS9, I'm not at all keen to pre-order a product. Oh, I'd buy it at full price when it came out (as PMDG's order records would show that I have the B1900C/D, B737-600 to 900, 744 and F, as well as the MD-11), but preorder? No thanks. Imagine if Airliner-XP accepted preorders? What a nightmare THAT would have been.Show me the product, and I'll show you the money.Cheers, Chris Dalgarno

I do not have a signature. Why are you reading this?

I would definately buy the new PMDG 737 for fs9. I also wanted to mention that I don't personally think that FS9 sales are down because people are not using FS9. I think sales are down because there are very few new products for fs9. I was just looking in a Computer Pilot Magazine on all of the popular products available for both flight sim versions and an overwhelming majority of them were for FSX only. The ones for FS9 I already own. I think a lot of people would purchase this product for FS9 if it was available. I know I would. PMDG is the bestT. Izo

Yes I'd pre-order so count me in. I have FSX and with default stuff it runs ok but complex add-ons pull the frame rate way down (from 30 to 10). I have the js41 and that is a struggle.I use the "old" 737NG more than any other a/craft and I would love an updated version but only for FS9.Iain Smith

Yes please, 737NGX for FS9 as well. We are still many who fly fs9

I'm actually against this. It'll take time and man-power away from the Dash 8 and other FSX pursuits, and such a desicion can only be based on questionable sales estimates. Now that the Flightsim series has been, at best, put on hold, at last we have a stable platform that'll be left alone. Plenty of reason to concentrate the effort on it. FS9 fans will at some point convert to FSX as more and more addons that take advantage of the superior FSX platform make it irresistable to upgrade their hardware.I'm never going back to FS9. It feels just strange. Yes I've put a lot of money into FS9 addons and yes it's a bit irritating to leave it all behind to dust away on a backup harddrive. Get over it. I'm not trying to be nasty or rude to FS9ers or anything, I'm just saying that I think it's irritating that your efforts in this thread will slow down FSX developments. Assuming of course that PMDG have limited manpower.I hope more FSX converts bring out their "votes" too. I don't want to have to wait say two months extra for the addons that'll come later because some simmers haven't upgraded yet.

Some addons like the freeware Project Tupolev are FS9 only among other addons. Also since I'm in a budget crunch, I can't really afford to get a machine that can run FSX good. I can run FSX, but on minimum settings and average 2-3 frames. FS9 I get 25 frames locked with max settings. FS9 will die, its only a matter of time but it will die a very very slow death. Since I have all that I need in FS aside a good A320, there has to be a product that will blow my mind away to make me build a PC good enough to run FSX.

There are numerous "blow your mind away" products for FSX:JS41MD11A2A CubRealAir DukeLotus L-39FTX Australiaand so on...If these are not enough reasons, I don't know how many more one might need... :(I cannot remember for exactly which addon I switched... I still use FS9 regularly, but equally use FSX nowadays...I feel I get to experience the best of both worlds. Of course I am fully aware of the privilege I have to be able to do so...Andrew

The original proposal made by the author of this post is an interesting mix between FS9ers wishes and budget, and PMDG business obligations.Count me in.Emmanuel Faudais

I would glady pre order the NGX. I would pre order any aircraft from PMDG. As a customer they have earned my business and respect. They put out the highest quality aircraft in FS and their support matches that quality. Not kissing butt here. Just stating the facts.RegardsRichie Walsh

I would pre-order for FS9 if the option were available!-Patrick

JS41- I fly the F1 ATR-72 as my only turbo prop, even then I rarely fly that.MD-11- Its available for FS9 in fact I may receive that as a Christmas gift from my gf :( A2A cub- don't fly GARealAir Duke- Same reason goes for the JS41L-39- VRS F/A-18 is better :)FTX Australia- not much into scenery except airports having correct AFCAD. Once the A320 advanced comes out, I really won't have a reason to switch to FSX especially since I have it tweaked to the point where I don't envy FSX whatsoever and 98% of all planes I fly are available in payware for FS9. I wish PMDG great luck on the 737, but I'm more drawn to the A320 me being an Airbusman :)
