That would be good. I want to read the FMC manual and get back into the 'boeing' way of doing things.

Would it be that much different then other fmc's, like the 747 FMC? I doubt it!Martin

I have to agree with Alex, I think there is a reason why no Renders or other Pictures were given to us in the last week(s).Maybe there is a nice update in the next weeks, with more information for us than one render can be.so let's wait a lil' bit :(

best regards,
Alexander Barger

We've seen pretty much everything of the NGX's virtual cockpit, except for displays. Last picture was posted 18 days ago. May be they'll show us some external shots of 737's body or maybe whole VC. Can't wait to see...

I think that huge update is just around the corner. But that is just me.

I found a wonderful powerpoint presentation of VSD (Vertical Situation Display) in the 737NG. Look here:http://www.b737.org.uk/navigation.htm#Vert...tuation_DisplayWill VSD be included in the PMDG 737NG?Michael

I just had an awsome idea. I'm guessing that the Ngx will have f/o callouts, but like previous products they will ne in an American accent. It's probably too much work but it would be great if you could select an accent from a list. Because the American accent sounds out of place when you are flying australian domestic flights or flights through asia for example. I guess if they are not supplied then it wouldn't be too hard to create our own but it would be cool to select it From the config manager. Looking forward to this addon like nothing else right now.

that would be good, ask various members of the forum, to record the sound sets depending on nationality, that would be awesome,i would stress that 18+ rule would be in effect, no offence to younger peeps

Hi all, changing the tack a little. This pinned post has been on the go for almost 6 months during which time relevent info about the 737ngx has been really quite scant and on reading quite a lot of the various posts it is quite clear that almost all of you are suffering from frustration during this current time scale. I have two monitors an i7 cpu 6gb ram windows 7 64bit and Nvidia 8800gts card. I use the PMDG 737ng 600/700 which runs exceptionally better than on windows xp and fly routes varying in time from 1 to 2 and half hours. no trouble at all. I have enjoyment which is the hub of flying. I will just take it easy in the knowledge I have only 5 months to wait for an excellent replacement for FSX and still fly the elder model for comparisons. Happy waiting. richard welsh.

my extended project at school involves making something entirely of our choice -- mine is a portable flight simulatori am using FSX and building cockpit panels of the 737NGi haven't bought any payware aircraft yet (only payware i bought is FSUIPC) but i am definitely going for the 737NGXthing is, this project is due somewhere in november so if the ngx is released around or later than that, i won't be able to demonstrate the functionality of my sim (one of my goals)if that was the case i'd still be happy with it though (teachers wouldn't really care if it's default 737 or not) because when the ngx comes out i'd buy it anyway and use it with my sim when i bring it back home :)PMDG gets the honour of being the developer of my first payware plane no matter what, i'm a guaranteed customer!looking forward to the updates :)Brian Tran
