August 3, 201015 yr I wonder if PMDG is just delaying the 737 for all the people that are complaining? LOL I am surprised they have even put out these many screenshots this far. We got to be getting close the end especially if Vin is going to post that fsx screenshot. By the way, here is a little video to distract some of your guys lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ossK4xTMBSM (737 cat III landing) Love the delay on GPWS. 20 seconds after the landing "Ten". Thats so funny! :) Can anybody translate what they are saying at the end. Tomi Lansipaltta Tomi Lansipaltta
August 3, 201015 yr Wouldnt it be mandatory to utilise the HUD in such condition as that? Or is it out of view?RegardsJeff BThat there is a 737 Classic, not an NG. I don't think that the classics get HUD's since the planes are older. Alexander Brinson
August 3, 201015 yr That there is a 737 Classic, not an NG. I don't think that the classics get HUD's since the planes are older.I see. I just assumed a CAT III was used by newer aircraft forgetting that its been around for a while if you know what i mean. Jeff Blyth MD11 J41 747 NGX . . awaiting 777 !!!
August 3, 201015 yr Yes, and many people prefers the 2d panel anyways, even if their computer is top notch. I like to use the 2d panel in situations with high work load, for example during takeoff. Its just a bit more convenient, with all the switches and buttons i need within "hand"(mouse)rangeIn your opinion!I actually prefer VC, and use Hardware to control my aircraft and not clicking mouse everywhere, far more realsitic and immersive. Along with Track IR.2D panels have their place, for use on multimonitor setups to drag them to another display.....Ideally when we get another version of FS (Aerosoft) a ability to use a VC style dockable panel would be the ultimate allowing you to have to 3D wrap around effect on some monitors, with a seperate view on another.RegardsJames Carr Regards James Carr

Along with Track IR.Agree, but it does get quite pricey. I have on my FSX wishlist Track IR and to get a real MCP and radio stack so I can make the changes ATC gives me quicker than looking around the VC. Just need to save a bit more cash before that. August 3, 201015 yr i wonder what"were on target for our release date" means exactly.... no smart arse comments please! :(The team have obviously set a release date internally, and this just means that Vin thinks they are still on target for that internal date. Don't think theres any chance of that date being shared with the user community just yet though! (Although they might give us some cryptic hints!) August 4, 201015 yr ah but you see that could also mean no official release date for us to know about but a targeted intetal release for PMDG :)cheersWasn't it last time that PMDG released a B73NG (for FS2004, if I recall) that AVSIM also did a forum upgrade to handle all the new traffic? Could be wrong, it's been a while..............Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
August 4, 201015 yr Not sure, but I hope that the Forum upgrade is a good sign if that's what happened last time. :( Alexander Brinson
