PMDG 737 NGX: The View Forward

Featured Replies

Ok, you got it :( Ok, just a disclaimer here: This is a 3D render, and not an in-game FSX shot, but it gives you all the idea of the detail we are striving for...
Looks great. While this is the older Honeywell MCP (I believe...) I wonder if there will be an optional Collins one (T7 type). Would definately like it.Regards,Etienne Deh

Thanks so much for the (incredibly) quick reply, Robert. :( I thought I heard there would be plenty of options, but I was wondering about this specific one.Oh by the way, being curious again, are you planning to come to Germany again to the FS conference anytime, introducing the NGX? I thought people liked it when you did so for the MD...Regards,Etienne Deh

That is great to hear! I just hope now that I have gotten my hopes up, that the orange/green/kitty one is one of those options as well :(

Any idea if the IAN approach and VSD will be simulated?Mark R

Can we have some pictures of the VSD? :-)Mark r

Wonder if it only will be available in kit form. Seen from the way they deliver screenshots :( - Nice work guys :(

Feel like this waiting never ends:-) I am planning to upgrade from FS9 to FSX only because of the NGX and I'm now saving money for a new machine, I hope when I'll buy it the NGX will already be available. What do you think, the below machine will be OK to run FSX smoothly? This is the one I am thinking about (I have not much money, sadly)Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.5 GhZ, 4 mb cache, 6 gb DDR2, 1 tb hd and Nvidia Geforce Gt220 graphics.Hope it will be OK to run FSX.Cheers:Zsolt Monostori

To be perfectly honest Zsolt i really doubt that will enough to run it.Try and find second hand parts that are much better, u need at least a quad core @ 2.83 and a 1gb graphics card.Alex

I think you'd be better off with 4 GB DDR3 1600, a cheap i5 processor (or even overclocked i3), and a slightly better graphics card. It wouldn't cost much more than the parts you listed. The machine you listed would have been ok 2 years ago. That being said, I'm still using an overclocked Q9550 and DDR2 ram and I get very good performance, even with the latest aircraft addons.
