I'm 69 and retired.I used to work at CAE in Montreal, till the early seventies.I worked on DC8,DC9,747,and L1011 simulators.Since then I worked in the computer industry and electronic pre-press.I have always been interested in aircraft, and can't believe how much computers have advanced.enabling us to enjoy this hobby, even if we can't fly the real thing. I now live in the Greater Toronto RegionCheersRon

  3. Student pilot
  4. Security supervisor for my paying job
  5. Storm chaser - specialty is Photography - I mainly chase tornadoes with a Canon 50D
  6. Study of supernatural - I use science to disprove haunting reports (or prove them in very rare cases).
  7. Run drumming group for a local renaissance scene.
  8. Work every summer at the Colorado Renaissance faire.

I'm 15 years old and still at shool... one thing about you "older" enthusiasts I cannot understand is that some of you never try to do at least a PPL ...GreetingsCornel Moesli

I'm a college professor so I don't get a lot of time to sim except during weekends. Plus I have other games to play. Once I get back into the FSX mood I'll fly a lot more.Best,NicolasH

I used to live in South Africa when we immigrated there from Holland in 1984. I went to the University of Port Elizabeth where I did a degree in Business Economics and Statistics and a post graduation degree in statistics.I got married in March 1999 and a week after the wedding moved to London. For the past 11 years my job has mainly been along the lines of data management, automating reporting systems, delivery of data, managing the database that holds the data etc.Now after 11 years here in London I am about to return to South Africa where I will be joining my company's offices in Cape Town, employed as a database analyst. Some years ago my wife bought an introductory course for the private pilot license. Unfortunately I never continued with it because of the prohibitive costs. But then I have been on study courses financed by myself, such as SQL, which have costed more then the PPL would have. Although the courses have helped to some extend without ever writing the exams, mainly due to becoming a father to 2 beautiful kids (one is 2

Hi all! A very nice and interesting thread to read...I'm 31 years old, working as a registered nurse in Dubai, UAE. I was fascinated in flight when I was a young kid as my home in the Philippines is close to the runway (RPMD). Everyday I used to watch planes take off and land for hours. Discovered flightsim back in FS2002 and was addicted to it ever since. For me FS was never a game but a learning and entertaining hobby. Not all people do appreciate this and most of them find it "boring." I'm anxiously waiting for the release of the 737 NGX.

Tyson 25 here currently going to a university here in utah for a degree in aviation! Had a career but the down turn of the economy made it short lived. Use to travel around the states and world consulting on buildings and telling people no love that part! It was a good gig for awhile. Now just school and snowboarding. If you like snow come to utah best snow on earth!
