Agreed Benjamin.I just flew her last night and she is still a great bird. Long and ever lasting like an old dog!

And FS2Crew will be releasing a Voice Commander for it here soon, this aircraft is getting better and better.

I hope the Level D guys see this thread. It's so nice to see something that is regarded with so much respect and affection after all these years. As a former AVSIM reviewer who quit because I got sick of the negativism so many people displayed toward reviews that were not 100% according to their own opinions, it's really refreshing to see something that is totally positive. (Of course now I've said this, we will probably have some *@@*# troll jump in here and trash the Level D!) :( So as someone who also started with 767 PIC back in FS2000 days and is still going strong, I just say "amen brothers!" :( I hope the programmers and developers who put it together know how much we appreciate their work!

Well, I have used the LDS 767 for 5 years and I thought it was the best aircraft, too. Last February I decided to switch to the Maddog MD80 and I have realized that it is another level... Anyway honor to the great 767 LDS!

The Maddog is also a great airplane, for sure. I have never seen such detail anywhere as on that plane. No, not even PMDG have gotten to that amount of detail! The difference, however, with the LDS767, is the performance. The LDS767 performes well for me, almost everywhere I go; the Maddog 2008 doesn't, which is why the LDS767 still manages to come out above the Maddog - but only by a slight margin.

Just my two pennarth on this is,I have both LVLD767's in FSX and FS9 and because it's so easy to fly these birds, it poses less of a challenge when I go flight simming. So. consequently they get less flying than the PMDG MD-11 & 747 which I love and aircraft like the Maddog 2010 (both sims) and other more complex aircrafts.I will agree though that the 767 is phenomenal and their promised 757 already has my card details.

How does the maddog perform in fs9??? Is it comparable to pmdg aircraft as far as fps go???P.S Is there much a diffrence between the pro version to the standard version???P.S.S If I already have the flight1 super 80 is it worth spending the money on the maddog version???Thank you.

HelloThe Leonardo Maddog gets great framerates for me in FS9, not so great in FSX as it is not a native modelIf you enjoy complex aircraft addons then this is as good as it gets, and if you would value having all the failuresand different cockpits the the Pro version is well worth it.I have the Coolsky aircraft and fly them in FSX as the frame rates are the best of any complex aircraft in FSX.In FS9 I use only the Leonardo MD

thank you, Im running fs9 only so I cant see myself having too many issues with fps, but just wanted to make sure.I run leveld locked at 40 fps, so If i decide to indulge in the maddog im hoping i can get similar fps. Thanks again.

You might, but I don't. The LDS767 is far and away the best performing complex airliner I have in my hanger.

Are you far off from your leveld???I agree with you it is amazing how well the leveld is on frames, for it being as complex as it is.

Answer to number 1a: Good 1b: depends which PMDG product, but yes.Answer to number 2: Don't know, only have the STD version.Answer to number 3: YES!!! I have both and once I flew the MADDOG, I never reloaded the Flight 1 product. Not to say the F1 MD80 is bad, it just doesn't compare IMHO. The MADDOG has one of the best VC's ever made.Sorry, went off track a bit. The LDS767 is a legend - one of the first aircrafts I reinstall when reinstalling FS9.

Thanks for answers to every one of my questions, including 1A and 1B :( Im extremely tempted now for the leonardo bird.Yes this topic did go off course so i will say it again, the level d is an exceptionaly done aircraft that i never run into problems with, very stable and easy on the frames even in vc mode.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. You probably misunderstood me: I meant that the performance of the Maddog 2008, on my system, is way below the performance of the LDS767.@ flyinpilot212121: don't be too bothered with the topic going a bit off course, it's no big point :( I have to agree with you though: Overall, the LDS767 strikes me as the only plane in my hangar (that is, of the complex ones I have) that always works right. No problems, ever; it just works.
