I really can't understand why they released with their panels not finished. Yes 1000s of hours have gone into it. Probably dozens of beta-testers have been over it. And still the panel looks like something my nephew drew when he was ten. At least the version that's out already. They're a bit of hit and miss, Feelthere. Lovely FDE and pretty externals, but either the VC designer, the entire Beta crew or whoever made the business decision to "stop working on it and release it now!" before it was completed needs a different job I think. Someone sure is to blame for the fact that it's a good product. It could have been great. I'll sure "vote with my wallet" and stay clear.

I just checked; the Feel There Embraer Regional jets package is 32 quid. That's for three different aircraft models, all of which work in both FS9 and FSX, so that's effectively six regional jet airliners, all with VCs and FMCs, plus Head Up Displays etc, at a cost of less than six quid each. Moreover, most of the issues you list can actually be solved by the user, since a paint job is merely a skin, and you can change those if you like.I do agree that the Feel There B737 external model is not the best, but it has perhaps the most realistic systems modeling of any 737 available for FS, and it handles very realistically indeed. Moreover, it has more add-ons available for it than any other FS aircraft, won an Avsim Gold Star Award, and again you get six individual aircraft across two sims for the price. You are complaining about these not matching individual aircraft products from other companies which cost an average of six times the price of each one of those aircraft, and issuing a demand that we boycott the company based on this? If that is your idea of a bad company and one which warrants a boycott, then I'm afraid I don't agree at all.Al

I'm sorry if you don't like the truth N400QW...I tryed (along with others) to communicate (politely) with the developers (feethere/McPhat) to fix the problems. Their response: "We have too much on our plate"Darryl
Calling for a boycott is really over the top Darryl.I'm not defending them as we too have a full plate but really man, a boycott?

HelloBoycott all you want. Just let me know the location and I will do a low pass over the picket line in my Feelthere ERJ-145 :(

Why should I punish myself by boycotting a product because of something someone else doesn't like?

Darryl, it sounds like you'd really like some of Captain Sim's offerings. They have excellent virtual cockpits, and the external texturing is top-notch.... :((for the record, I have and enjoy several Captain Sim products, and I also have the E-jets V1, which I think very highly of)

Maybe you can get you're nephew to design a better panel for you. Then maybe he can spend hundreds of hours testing it and then upload it for both sims for free, just for you.I think some of you guys need to relax and find something else to pass time. For the asking price Feelthere is asking for a well supported aicraft for both sims are very reasonable. They're trying to produce and sell a quality product at a very economical price. And I applaud them for that.Boycott com'on dude, be for real.

Hey Guys I have the Ejets and the PIC 737 I enjoy them very much. for the price they give you 2 versions one for fsx and fs9. nothing is perfect. but to say something like boycott them or that the vc is garbage. is just not cool I for think the vc is fine I would hate to think of what some of you guys consider good. Its your choice to purchase it or not I understand your frustration that you had with the plane just dont buy it, thats all. most people will tell you if your not satisfied then try making it yourself which is a very extremely hard thing to do. gmax and 3smax plus coding stuff is almost impossible if you dont study hard or are a very talented and gifted person which is rare.

Seems a shame to defame the product before its release, and Wilco has nothing to do with this one. How about some fairness and a more objective evaluation once the product is available?

That's the fate of FSX people - to suffer and to ask for the solutions on daily basis. FS9 folks are fine and enjoying their flights - that is the reason why so few topics currently in FS9 forum.

Little bit if a nonsensical generalization, don't you think?

Releasing E175/190 on Aug. 1st?
the '8/1' and 'next week' comments are guesses by folks not part of the team posting on the feelThere forum. there is no official release date set as the product is still in beta ... late beta really.--

Stop the knocking, the plane flies well but the developer does not fix the problems...
Actually, Feelthere made 5 (FIVE) patches for E-170 series and 2 patches for E-145. That speaks itself about product support. They haven't

Long live freedom of speech!! If the initiator of this topic doesn't like it because he has bad experiences with some products than that does not mean you dont have to like it either..Some of us like Feelthere and Wilco products and have good experience with it and some of us dont like the products. As for myself, well, Wilco products for FSX are truly the most buggy unsolved pieces of crapp ever made for flight simulator on my system. As far feelthere counts, well, their embrears hold on fine and I used to love flying their cessna but since they are linked with Wilco I will never buy products again from both a them. That does not mean I will ask other people to boycot them.Regards
