I think, not sure, but the Feelthere\Wilco Embraer series 2 have wing views with internal sounds? Maybe some sort virtual cabin though? Don't know of any besides this one,sorry to bring up another company on your fourms Maybe you guys can offer the standard external sounds for users who want to view their aircraft from exterior and hear the external sounds, and include some sort of sound set or change file for users who want to hear interior sounds on the wingview and who aren’t bothered about viewing ac and hearing from tower exterior views etc. I only use VC and wingviews if I can sort the sound out. That would be pretty groundbreaking if you could sort something out to show off those awesome wingviews:) Would save users having to play pre-recorded sounds on youtube with wingviews :(

I just had another question pop up in my head. Will we be able to open the flight deck windows? I know normally this feature serves no real purpose but if you're haveing the airconditioning modeled this realistically, maybe it would he worth while. I mean if it's a hot day and we're just firing up the aircraft, we could get some fresh air on the flight deck before the packs are switched on.

A question. Beside the weather radar, is there something else you (PMDG) could't simulate, either because of FSX limitations or just because it's imposible?

I probably wont explain this well be but I am gonna take a shot at it.Basically FSX doesn't show locations for clouds and water so to have a TRUE wx is impossible in FSX. All the ones on the market don't actually work.

The wing views are AWESOME! Stunning work!!I have stopped using wingviews due to the extenal sound issue in FSX in wingviews just stay in the VC these days, but have had some success and modifying certain sound sets...is there anything that can be done to help the issue so we can have some sort of interior sound with wingviews? I think someone mentioned ths already, but wanted to mention it too:)

I'm not saying completely get rid of the exterior sounds - no way! I am wondering if there would be some easy way (perhaps even in a config file) to make this possible? Even though the viewpoint is technically an external one, as for the user experience, wing views are rarely enjoyed with earmuffs on :(. Thanks to PMDG for answering all our questions! Boxed versions are usually done by Aerosoft. The NGX will most likely be no exception but in that case, they will decide the price, not PMDG.

After the 737NGX and 777, PMDG should have just enough to fund their own Simulator.One can dream right? Could you imagine a flight sim built by PMDG? Can you say "over-the-top realism"?

For those asking about having internal sounds for the wingviews - I looked into this and it's not going to be possible unfortunately. To do it requires the wings to be fully modeled in the VC - wingviews are normally made in FSX using the external model. We can't model the full wings + engines and everything in the VC - the reason is the animation limit I've been talking about - we've already maxed it in the VC itself. The wings require a ton of animations - the control surfaces, the engines, the flexing etc - all that is done with them and there's just not enough left over to do two wings that way. There's no other way to assign interior sounds to a view than by making the view part of the VC - sorry but we're going to have to live with external sounds in the wingviews.

I was gonna say that earlier. Those "views" are taken from the external so unless there is a way to have those views access another file its just not possible
