Externalities and the NGX

A touch off topic but is the KRNT fully modeled in the orbx scenery? As well does the textures blend well with UTX & GEX? Does the orbx stuff just sit on to of it? Last question, are there night textures?
If John Venema at Orbx is reading and wants to chime in, he's more than welcome to post here, but I'll try to answer.KRNT is not an actual standalone airport in FTX PNW ala their KORS and upcoming KPDX but it is much improved over the default - there's enhancements made to it that are part of the PNW package. Here's the product page:http://www.fullterrain.com/product_nablue.html

...To extend and retract the flaps on this airplane, we thought it would be interesting to model them in detail. To do this, Jason capitalized on our engineering access and used the plan views for the actuator assemblies to create the actuators within the wing of the model...They are hard to see unless you have a product that allows you to move around the wing of the airplane- but they are in there- AND THEY MOVE CORRECTLY.Even the jackscrew rotates appropriately- and can be seen from the right locations.......
Ok, can you point me to the correct PMDG NGX forum because I seem to be in the wrong one. LOLFantastic job PMDG!
I've been wanting to be a pilot since I was 14. Now I'm 16, so there's still a loooong way to go. I want to be hired by GOL, that airline I said that has only NGs. They don't require a degree here, but having one is also a good idea and I do want to have a bachelor degree. Currently I'm at high school and I want to go to UFRJ (Rio de Janeiro Federal College) to study Meteorology, that has everything to do with aviation BTW, and I also love it. I don't know in other countries, but here the best education institutions are the federal ones (there are also some good private ones, but they are quite expensive).
Thats good keep doing what your doing, its no easy thing thats what i like about it its a challenge.

PMDG,I think I maybe in the wrong forum, My intention is to buy a SImulation of the Boeing 737NGX Series... Not the Real thing!! :D
Oh man, where's my ATP license and the company badge???Big%20Grin.gif
Correct me if I am wrong but, are there take-off call-outs? (80 knots, V1 - Vr?)
Sure there is. They put the flaps actuators and hydraulics reservoirs in place! Callouts are easy. BTW, who is the callout voice? Ryan? Vin? Robert? Somebody else?

there is a new picture on facebook! http://www.facebook....165758250130634
Thank you for keeping me, and all others, up to date about the FaceBook page! ;)
... most of the ones that use it are coming later tonight.
I'm curious. PMDG is playing a nice game with us... :(

Sure! Why PMDG shouldn't? PMDG is too precisely to leave it. :(

Modeling parts that can't be seen. Geez, my head just exploded. How can you guys put so much into one package and not sell it for what Boeing gets for the NG? Amazing.Though I don't fly the MD-11, 747, or J4100, I simply cannot wait for the NG to hit my SSD and course through my quad core, erupting from my GTX460.About the only thing I have been flying for years now is the B757 (you all should update your FlyII version to FSX) and the Cirrus SR22, but I am looking forward to flying the new NG. It isn't the nicest looking plane in the air, but you gotta love her flight deck. You all should be very proud of what you have created here and what it will do for the FSX franchise.Tim 57 Rotunda

I'm the only one who's refreshing this page each 10 seconde? :(- PMDG small questions: 1.- How long does is approximately take before the NGX is also available in Europe after the first release day? I gues two weeks.2.- The release day will also bring a boxed version immediately? (Because Aerosoft handles the boxed versions itself, if I'm right.).Kind regards,Steven A

It's in the forward cargo hold, next to the shattered remains of the Woodpigeon. [i hear Ryan broke the Woodpigeon in an attempt to outfit it with an electric guitar jack.]

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

No wonder, you spam like hell. j/k :(
That's true. A lot of the posting I did are totally pointless. Like this one. :(

The idea of having an option to make the wing fairings transparent to see this detail is interesting, I will ask Jason and Vin...http://www.flight1.c...oduct=ezdockcam
great! thank you - i am sure you already seen the flying 101 livery - maybe its possible to do something pmdg style, like seeing through the gear doors and all the little details you want us to show. michael knittl
