Gents-A couple of points:I'd like to see all of you stop beating one another up for voicing opinions, please. The whole debate about how long beta should take is a bit strange given that I address that topic directly in the post that started this thread... I won't bother reiterating the point here, since it has already been described above!Second, we will announce pricing, inclusions and recommended specs at some point during beta testing. Thirdly, we are prepping to start beta testing... Was supposed to happen on Friday but we had a coupe things we wanted to resolve first. Possibly Monday. We'll see...Please note that we aren't going to tell you about it until AFTER it happens... might be a few days, might be a few weeks... Either way, the announcement has nothing whatever to do with release dates, so it isn't that important.
BETA! BETA! BETA! possibly right now...... or NOW.... maybe in two minutes! hehehehe Congratulations PMDG, can't imagine how it's going to feel for you all when you pass BETA and release. It's a shame you have to keep so much of your development process/methods a secret as that sorta thing really lifts my wings (was going to say floats my boat but..). Maybe I sign an NDA and take peek? Just kidding. Big%20Grin.gif

I've been outta the fs game for a while and this update of the planes impending release is making me look for a job alot faster so I can buy the required hardware. So pmdg, you have just reduced the unemployment rate.

Good morning from the Netherlands,I have a question about the features. I cannot find them on the product page. Right now I am making a choice between the PMDGNGX and the IFly 737 so the features of both products are important for me. If people know the features, it's easier for them to choose between the two products. If people can read quickly what features the PMDG will have, maybe they will wait a bit longer... Black%20Eye.gif My questions about the features are below. I couldn't find an answer via the forum search function. Reading many pages of forum is inpossible for me.- Are wing views in the virtual cockpit view included? (so is a wing view programmed in the VC view?)- Is a virtuval cabin included? (or a part of it)Thanks for the answers!Kind regards,Constantijn van Kooten Niekerk.

You can see the wings from the VC. It has been shown in one of the the screenshots. If I remember correctly, it has been stated that there will not be a virtual cabin.

Yes - wingviews. No - Virtual cabin. But are these really the criteria you're going to base your decision on?Neither of these products is released yet. Why not just wait until the first one gets released and then decide if you need to know more about "the other".Personally, I'm convinced that the iFly version will be very good :( , but the PMDG one will be even better. :(

I'd like to add, that there will be a HUGE difference between the i-Fly Boeing and the PMDG Boeing...so i'd say just wait a little longer....Best Regards,Ray

If I remember correctly, there will be a virtual cabin, only very basic like the one used in the JS-4100

Correct. However, like the Jetstream, the cabin is part of the external model and offers little to no detail. It's just there so the plane doesn't look empty from outside.

It is not real - iFly haven't released an FSX version yet. Only an FS9 version so far, the FSX version is under development. See link below to the iFly forum for a response to that simw.com website by one of the iFly staff...http://ifly.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=2705&title=fsx-release-date

If I could recall, I don't think they said that there will not be one.. But they said if they do it it's not going to be advanced, since animations are unlikely to be speared from the VC... Or So I think.
