Yes: It was an April Fools gag!

What race, Henk?I am sure the iFly is nice, but there is really no contest.
AlexanderWith winning the race, I only mean: Perhaps the IFly 737NGX will be issued, before the PMDG 737NGX??? I saw some pictures of the IFly plane, and they look promising to me. Up until then, I even like, flying the PIC737 with FS2Crew Voice Commander. There is something else what I don't like. That is a certain tendency from the really good aircraft developers (e.g. PMDG, LevelD, IFly), to start a little fooling around with the Simmers. Perhaps, it was better when they should stop telling us they are working on a new project at a too early stage of developing.Henk Altena With fooling around, I did not mean the first of April (No problem for me), but I mean a rather structural fooling around.

I really want to know why some people think that an aircraft is good by just looking some pictures. Is the sistems and how they are simulated that makes an aircraft good. Good graphics makes it better..At least it is what i think

That's fully correct, and I agree. And this is exactly what developers are doing today: sending us a lot of pictures.. Of course, I'm interested in updates about proceeding (and therefore in pictures too). In the case of the PMDG737NGX, this was already done in a very premarily stage. That is, in my opinion, not wise, and that is wat I find: Fooling around with the clients, and I still think, the client is the king: without buyers: no existence for PMDG (certainly not a wish of me btw). But by saying for instance: it can be next week, it can be 2013, I think the clients are not taken seriously. Sorry for this, but I wrote down my frustrations. Hope they are now up in the air, and hope the NGX will be also there very soon.Henk Altena

Well there isn't much they can do besides screenshots. The HUD video was pretty sweet, but that's really about as far as any dev can go for teasers. People say it's the systems that make the plane & they can't tell anything from photos... That's still a lot better than getting nothing. Without all the teasers I've no doubt half the people waiting would be convinced it's still another 2-3 years away.

Funny!Unbeknownst to so many people, especially since many here don't observe April Fool's or even know what it is,could it make people even more annoyed at the delay? Who knows. Most people now are just sort ofkilling time until this plane comes out. In any event, I'm sure the plane will be lovely since all this time and effort was spent on it.Yesterday's update was welcome news, however, and it satisfies, I'm sure, many people's concerns about the NGX. From what I've been following on the forums, the plane looksoutstanding. I've been buying PMDG's products since the 744 for FS9, and I'm sure, with all PMDG products, the NGX will beuniversally regarded as a premium product.Very truly yours,Tom
LOL, read the hidden message anyone? I agree we need this released now not later, hurry up.

Actually, i was pointing that there are people (not PMDG) that keep asking for pictures. And honestly they shouldnt tell us everything 'cause that way it would spoil the surpise.I don't feel that i'm being treated like a fool by PMDG, because i don't own the NGX.

I wonder why some people are angry, I would rather pmdg have good sense of humor rather than being boring non motivated people. PMDG is on of the most motivated, enthusiastic company I know :)

the best information we have at this point is that Boeing legal needs to conduct a liability review, construct an applicable "Hold Harmless" agreement and modify the EULA that will come with the NGX at time of purchase. They estimate that this process may take 60-90 days, or up to 120 days at the WORST.
I guess we're going to 120 days! :)Sorry but we're only 2 weeks away from the 90 day mark so I had to.You have to admit, it's hilarious looking back on this post now.

I bet it's coming soon. It's the calm before the Hurricane. [CAT 5]

I would say that replying to a 8-year-old post is more hilarious than this. But what's a month and a half?

You forgot the TM And it's been two months and a half, not one. :)
Thanks. At least I miscounted and not pushback without the APU running....

I had a funny idea ;) Imagine the only thing that holds the release of the NGX is a secret project and suddenly PMDG releases two aircraft at the same time, the NGX and another really cool one (maybe an A320 :( )Now that would be really cool. The only bad thing with this is that i wouldn't know which one to fly first ;)

I would love to see a PMDG A320, PMDG 737NG and PMDG A320= Simulator heaven for me, oh, and maybe a fresh ATR for island hopping :(

A Beech Bonanza F33A would be great ;) Lufthansa Flight Training teaches the new pilots on them first. Hopefully i can join them the next 2-3 years... :(
