Ouch that looked painful! I'm glad nobody was seriously injured Whew.gif

To be honest, ...I'm laughing my &@($* of here, pretty funny :( But ye ye, still not a really cool experience for the CRJ passengers. Pretty cool if you got a wingview seat on the left at the A380 :(

How much does that CRJ 700 (?) weigh? 30 tons? Amazing how it get's thrown around like a toy. Pretty violent.

Taken from this article:"A CNN correspondent on the Air France flight to Paris reported that he felt a "slight rumble akin to hitting a patch of rough pavement" as the plane with over 500 people on board was moving on the ground at about 8:15 pm."It will be interesting to see who get's blamed for this one... One would think that if your nosewheel is on the centerline and you've been cleared to taxi... that the conditions are deemed safe by ground control... Regardless, I too am glad that nobody was hurt..Cheers!

It's not the first time, and will not be the last. It could have been an ANT 225 or a spruce goose on wheel...One thing to remember, never play chicken with an A380...Ben

It Could be :The tower, for bad traffic management. The A380, for speedingThe CRJ for parking like a grandpa on a ford TBen
I'm sure on the Air France tapes they're be more than a few instance of the word "M*rde" thrown about...
I'm thinking more about a mix of m*rde and put**n with the sentence, "did we just hit a bird ?" :(

That had been a hit. I would never play games to an A380! The CRJ has been thrown away like a sheet of paper in the wind.

Best regards, Steffen

Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h

I did some math :The A380 taxi speed at impact was roughly +/- 20 knotsBen

I'd really like to know what the pilots of the CRJ have thought when they were thrown around in their cockpit.Hopefully we can hear the CVR recordings soon.

Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!

Ouch! i wonder how much damage there is on both planes, where there people on board of the crj?

best regards,
