April 25, 201115 yr Sorry if this has been discussed before but I would like to know if that's possible to save flights and how it is done in the NGX? I will be making video tutorials on youtube For NGX and it would be nice to save the flights and recover them smoothly. I know it's possible on the PMDG 747 but sometimes it doesn't recover as you left it. Sagga Toure
April 25, 201115 yr Ok, as I predicted he's back. So what? Let's just continue with the ngx. I can see when I woke up there's been another party here Joe Barton

If you mean save panel state, then your answer is yes, but istead of having to open a external menu to save or load a panel, it will be done via a menu in the FMC, as well as all the options. No more drop down menu or external menu to work with the NGX. All the "infrastructure", as Ryan said, was rebuilt, so panel state save/loading should much more efficient than their previous products. April 25, 201115 yr I'd like to know if the NGX will have an icing simulation kind of like what we saw on the JS4100. I thoroughly enjoy that because it adds a new aspect to flying. I hope that's been implemented in the NGX.
April 26, 201115 yr Commercial Member I'd like to know if the NGX will have an icing simulation kind of like what we saw on the JS4100. I thoroughly enjoy that because it adds a new aspect to flying. I hope that's been implemented in the NGX.It does not - the reason being that a large jet like the NG is far less susceptible to this sort of thing than a lower flying turboprop like the J41. The NG's ice protection systems are extremely good and it's pretty much never an issue unless you're doing something stupid like flying right through a storm. We also do not have the animations left to do it - the effects in the J41 were done with a bunch of different animations - we've hit the hard limit for those in FSX with the NGX and they're used for other things that actually affect the operation of the airplane as opposed to putting some cosmetic ice on the windows. April 26, 201115 yr Maybe it has been asked already but I want to know. Did you implement the joystick button assignation for the NGX? As it is on another popular addon... Sagga Toure
April 26, 201115 yr Good site, have you purchased the book? If so what are they like?ThanksI happen to have the book, and it is an excellent resource for 737 operations. I also thoroughly recommend the 737 Management Reference Guide by Pat Boone, if you are interested in 737 literature. Joe Sherrill

And, what do you think about this:If you fly in very cold weather with anti ice off, maybe you can simulate the wrong speed readings that you may get if your pitots get freezed. That won't use any animations at all. Juan Ramos

April 26, 201115 yr I personally would like to know how far the acars/cpdlc has been simulated. It would be amazing if we could use it with some controllers on things like vatsim and ivaoThat would go great with the latest version of TAAATS!Cheers,Nick Jones

April 26, 201115 yr I know theres loads of questions here but I just want to ask one more, just one more. When the real 737 is moving on the ground especially when taxiing the cabin shudders and makes those kind of noises. In the ngx will they have that? I absolutely love that, and the wing flexing about and the elevators to...Joe Barton Joe Barton
April 26, 201115 yr I was wondering if you could answer two questions :- Could we have more info an the new failure system ?- Will we have an integrated or addon instructor station ?Ben
