Of course, iFly is going to release a whole range, 600-900, and PMDG only 800. Could be a good business opportunity for iFly now.

I think in their forum they said it will include the 600-900, not just the -800.

nope :( 600, 700, 800 & 900, and some other variants. I believe the 900ER and the BBJ aree included too, not sure though

If I remember correctly, they said they weren't sure if the BBJ would be included or added as a seperate download expansion.Maybe if Ryan sees this post he can jump in an confirm.

Wow well that is great news then. I still don't see how you could go through beta in less than a month. But PMDG are masters as what they do!

Only thing I've been thinking about is about iFly vs PMDG. Actually I think the one who releases earlier is mostly likely to get most sales.

I'm open to the iFly but I have to say that - to the extent you can judge from videos - the PMDG seems to have a real polish to it. Sort of like what you experience in the A2A B-17 compared to other multiengine piston simulations.Re: the sudden rush of PMDG videos and updates - well, of course. It's called competition. If I had a product due and a competitor was going to get out the door first, I'd try to "freeze" the market a little by giving prospective customers a reason to think about my product and maybe hold off on a purchase. A perfectly legit way of doing business and it happens all the time. Makes life entertaining for the rest of us and might lead to two products that are better than they would have been otherwise. Time to relax and enjoy the upcoming show!

Probably a side effect of having the HUG down. I would be curious to see the same shot with the HUG removed to see if the redness goes away.

The HUGS, as in real life, has a red tint applied to it that apparently helps reduce glare.

FPS will ultimately decide whether I fly the iFly or PMDG version. Both more than fulfill my requirements for a high fidelity airliner addon.Can't wait to see which one I'll end up using! In the meantime I'll keep enjoying the iFly in FS9. :(
