May 20, 201115 yr Console game prices suck though - they're all $60 now when the PC version of the same game is often $50 or $40 - makes no sense, PC sells way less copies and it's cheaper? You're looking at $90 right now to get Call of Duty: Black Ops up to the level people are playing it online at - $60 game + the two $15 map packs. That's pretty standard in business Ryan. I see that every day in our shop...Demand/Supply. Low demand, high supply, low price. High demand, high supply, high price. Pretty obvious IMO.
May 20, 201115 yr Yes same dimensions, nothing in the cockpit changes from variant to variant. The cabin does change by length depending on type and externally, everything else is the same except fuselage length and the addition of a tail skid on the -800/900. However there is a bit of a gotcha with the -600, the cargo door positions are different and no winglets (uneconomical/too heavy for the type to be of any benefit)Regardless of what type is flown, the only thing that a pilot has to be aware of is the inertia and handling qualities and of course being aware of what type your flying when taxying :-)We've got it all!Cheers,Ok thanks that's the perfect answer. It's funny 3 years ago when I flew your NG's on FS9 I swear the 600 cokpit was smaller. But hey you pointed out everything clearly so agains thanks.
May 20, 201115 yr I don't understand the forum rules anymore. When someone said the NGX shouldn't cost more than $80, the moderator(s) lock or delete the topic. When another one says NGX should cost $200 you guys let it go. Did you forget about your own rules? I'm not sure why is that?[Edit] You can delete my message as well if you find irrelevant. It's your forum after all. [Edit] Sagga Toure
May 21, 201115 yr $79.95 for the base model, then extra for the other variants. I could imagine it more expensive than the MD due to the extra R/D and time it has taken, not to mention many more features than existing models. Brent Lewis
May 21, 201115 yr I don't argue about the excellent products that PMDG produces. However, it is still a desktop flight simulator and there are *cough* alternatives *cough*. I can say that I'll definitely pay the $80 of previous products. Likely pay $100, and pushing $110-120, will be pushing me out of this purchase. I will definitely not be paying $200 personally.Eric Szczesniak Eric Szczesniak
May 21, 201115 yr Ryanbatcund - one million dollars and picture....I laughed so hard. That was hilarious. Well played.

May 21, 201115 yr Be grateful that PMDG doesn't charge for livery packages, unlike another developer which shall remain nameless. I'm glad we can download liveries for free!!! Matthew Bellette
May 21, 201115 yr Commercial Member Winning!Oh- a pop culture reference I understand! hahahahah(Seriously: Ryan is continually amazed at how un-hip I really am...)Pricing is going to be quite digestible so please don't worry that we'll pull anything crazy.
