I don't mind lighter products but it is hard to get over bad night lighting. It seems so simple: all you need is no lights, back lighting and flood lights. Still, so many developers get it wrong. I too am getting a little tired of this. Paul Golding nailed the lighting in his freeware DC-9 and MD80 panels for FS2002 and it seems like few are able to compete with his 8 year old panels. It is almost like night lighting is an afterthought for developers.And BTW, good night lighting will sell a product to me. It is one of the main things I look for because it adds so much to the experience. When I see a set of product screenshots that don't highlight night lighting, it immediately throws up a red flag.Shame. I was ready to put this on my must buy list.

No FMC, and many of the buttons are not clickable.

The concerns about cockpit night lighting have been added to a bug/upgrade list so it is being looked into. In the meantime there is the option of simply commented out the VC lights as I did in my copy. Also the MFD's and some of the other instruments can be manually dimmed.

The included sound package is by Turbine Sound Studios. I've been up to March Field and have been able to go out on the ramp where these operate. I think it sounds pretty good.

I don't know but you are right, Airbus X night lighting is very nice. I do believe Paul was involved in the project because I have seen him posting in Airbus X forums. Now that I think about it, it was Paul's 707 panel that had the fantastic night lighting. Of course, I am sure there is a lot more to producing a nice night environment in a vc than a 2d panel but independent interior lights back lighting should be the industry standard now.Nice to see they issued a patch.

Admittedly not including the lighting options was an oversight. Panel lights and cabin lights are two separate variables so it was an easy fix.
