These 2d masterpieces will be used by me quite a bit.....love the panels!

Very nice. Not a 2D guy at all these days, but after looking at these pictures I might end up flying from it once in awhile.

People can repost screen shots to their heart's content. That's not what the watermarks are for.If you were a developer, and had had your intellectual property copied and used in other products, you would not find it so peculiar.

Yup, people out there are constantly hacking panels and treating content like its just theirs tomix and match, as a software developer I completely empathize, cool idea!

I have one question for this awesome Add-ON . . . . how much is this going to cost and is there any pre-order method?

im guessing it will be the same as the MD-11. But its probly weeks before we will know.

Thanks for the 2D preview guys! Although I use the VC pretty much all the time, I do use some pop up windows sometimes. I have uses for the 2D panels and I am very glad that you made them! Are the pop up DUs undockable (or whatever it's called)? (Like the 747x)Thanks,Regards

The pictures are beautiful. Although the NGX is showing a great potential on converting me to a full-time VC pilot (the MD-11 started the process and the J41 is giving me a good hand), the FMC and zoomed DUs may still be useful during high workload moments or when I'm too lazy to rotate the camera and look for a switch.Again Vin, thanks a lot for accepting my request of posting new 2D pictures. You guys are great. Looking forward to the next video and I wonder if some day we'll hear your or Robert's voice in one of them .

Didnt know that that there s are till people flying with 2d panel. Can we disable them?

You don't have to fly from the 2D, that's why there is a Virtual Cockpit. The 2D panel doesn't affect you if it's there or not lol.PMDG took plenty time develping their 2D Panels. They aren't the ordinary not interaction 2D panels.

I am a VC flier myself, but I do enjoy having 2d popups for the FMS and the overhead panel. Those are about the only things I use 2d for, and the JS41 sort of started to break me of that habit, but when I am in the Level D 767 or the Maddog, I find myself using 2D for the overhead panel, and always liked using 2d panels for the FMS (in the Level D you have to use 2d, the fms in the VC is a dummy and does not work nor is it dynamic.)

I prefer doing cockpit preparations in th 2d panel. But in the VC it feels closer to the real one

i really dont understand people who are so against 2D´s . they forget that there a still people who havent the best computer at home! and just need such a nice 2d panel, like pmdg did. thanks guys, you are trully amazin people. i love you all! :( hehe

You use 2D, I use 3D. It is great to have the product cater to both worlds. I haven't used the 2D main panel to fly any addon aircraft since I started purchasing addons for fs2004 seriously. They never gave me that depth and "being there" feeling, even when the early VCs were a little jumpy in performance. Since moving to FSX, very addon aircraft installed has had a smoothly performing and feature-packed VC and in some cases have not even offered any 2D panels (thinking of Realair and A2A here specifically). But for the still large number out there using the 2D panels for whatever reason (performance is no longer such an issue with native fsx addons), it is exceptionally forthcoming of PMDG to spend the additional time developing and integrating them. Good on them for catering to many markets for the release of the year!Andrew

I agree that pmdg is doing something that really sets them apart from other developers.......they listen to thier customers when it comes to the product they are making. Its nice to see that they would take on a task that only increases thier workload. All this for the folks like me who still use the 2d panels as much as the vc.
