July 17, 201114 yr "setting a date" and "announcing a date" are two very different things. Maybe you would prefer PMDG to do the Level D way and tell us nothing about the development process?I agree completely!!! I mentioned this earlier on in the forum; citing Level D as an example. THANK YOU! Ruben Schuckit i5 2500k 4.5GHz GTX 560 Ti 8GB memory

July 17, 201114 yr Hey, don't forget though guys... Time can mean very different things for some folk. I go in for my brain op very soon. There's actually a 5-10% chance that I emerge from that even more of a 'veg' (read potato) than I currently am now :( Just imagine... if the NGX had been here already, I would've got to fly it AND REMEBER IT :( Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

ImmaturityWe really need a 'like' button, it's silly having to quote that just to agree with it.Life is going on, I've just spent a weekend running a timing crew for a round of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship, tomorrow I'm off for a holiday at the snow for a few days. Now that I've got my DSL connection working again (hmph!) this evening I'll maybe island hop another leg in the J41 on my "visit every country" round-the-world(-several-times) trip, or possibly try a new recipe in the breadmaker. If I'm feeling energetic there's the gym, or possibly a golf driving range (byo woods, nowhere has them available post Happy Gilmore LOL).In other news, the NGX will get here when PMDG decide it's ready. It'll be awesome and I'm looking forward to it, but it's not my entire reason for living. Gary Lowndes
July 18, 201114 yr I think some of you really need to relax. There is other planes in FS and other things to do with your life, if your married or have a girlfriend take her out for a date night.. If your single get the hell off of here and find a girl to take on a date and on that date do not mention PMDG, the NGX or FS in general. The plane will be released at some point, probably will be released soon and it will be worth the wait. July 18, 201114 yr I know everyone loves congratulating themselves on having a life outside this forum, but there have been legitimate and well-articulated critiques of PMDG. As great as PMDG is, they are not infallible. I bet if they could go back in time they'd avoid putting that "Mid 2010" release date in that teaser video.Delays in production are a regular occurrence in many industries. It's my guess that PMDG decided to take this simulation to a higher level of detail than originally planned, and it seems like they have added features as they have gone, and naturally this has extended the development process. Remember, with most products/services you have three options: quality, time, cost. You can typically only select two, and the remaining option will suffer. Shane Gavin

July 18, 201114 yr Agreed....I have been viewing this forum as an outsider for quite some time now, and to be honest some of the people here are quite pathetic in your comments. There is no need for these guys to blurt out anything that pops into there head. I think a few of them really need a psychologist to see them. Cant........sleep.........must.................have........................NGX.......... But seriously.............Now I agree with the Irony in this and that by complaining about complainers is quite stupid. However I think these forums have gone to people who have to higher opinions about themselves making downgrading and down right rude comments about people who are just trying to talk about the software. Now while some people may not be completely correct about some items there is no need to reply like I TRIED TO USE A PROFANITY HERE - AREN'T I STUPID!s as I have seen so many times. Daniel PS: Love the NGX previews keep em' coming.
July 18, 201114 yr I used a couple of the KSLC procedures while testing actually... It flies them beautifully.I'm so happy to see the progress being made here for the final release. I was on vacation in San Jose this past week and just flew on a Delta 737-800 from Salt Lake Intl to Philadelphia, and marveled at the interesting departure due to the high terrain surrounding the airport (the San Jose to Salt Lake City leg was on a A319, and San Jose also has a special "corkscrew" departure to avoid nearby terrain) I plan on flying plenty of KSLC virtual flights, I'm in love with that scenery. This vacation took my mind out of the wait for the NGX, and I can't wait to replicate this experience with her in the near future! July 18, 201114 yr I agree, I think some people on here are taking the " customer is always right" thing way too far. In the field I work in ( automotive repair) some customers are better off as X customers. There is TWO other choices out their for a NG if your not happy with PMDG you can always just go buy one of those and forget about the NGX.I aleady have but still waiting for the ngx to come out when it does i got 2 to choose from I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
July 18, 201114 yr Ok,Going onto Roberts post, he said 'A couple of days and we will talk about pricing and features'... A couple means 2! I'm very disappointed! A Loyal customer still and will always be a loyal customer to PMDG but im disappointed in them hugely! Because this happens alot of times when these anouncements are made... Why can't we just have a very small update as to WHY they aren't saying anything after they say 'a couple of days'...? Then we will know why the announcement has been delayed. Sorry I have to voice my opinions like this but I feel its necessary or we wont get this plane released. I've spent LOTS of money on Manuals and everything for this plane, from LAST Xmas! And it makes me sad because I've spent all this money because I'm a loyal customer to PMDG and still the plane isn't released. I understand and appreciate that this plane is going to be amazing! But when you say things, you must keep to them, otherwise communication fails!Again, I'm sorry to voice my thoughts and opinions but this is the way I feel.I'm still waiting, as is many of us!Thanks,TristanThis post affirms my earlier statement:Many of the critical comments here appear to be the result of one or more of the following:1. July 18, 201114 yr I aleady have but still waiting for the ngx to come out when it does i got 2 to choose fromYeah I bought the IFLY plane on release day.. At the time I figured if it was a month until NGX release I would get my monies worth.. So far I have gotten two months out of it. When the NGX releases I will do a fresh install of FSX and the IFLY is not getting installed again. July 18, 201114 yr +1 ^^If only the delays with the NGX were the no.1 worry in my life just now, seems like it is to many people on here.....very sad. -Iain Watson-
