August 1, 201114 yr Virgin Blue actually has some NG's without winglets. Atleast, they did. Not sure about that as of today. Matthew Bellette
August 2, 201114 yr Please....I'm just curious, you folks that think this NGX is too "pricey", what kind of price tag would you expect to see on it? Before you answer, let's consider that this in not just a visually stunning model. It is another world better than what your used to downloading for free on the Avsim Library. This is a 737 simulation that duplicates all of the systems of an $80.8 million commercial airliner that uses dedicated computers that run no other program but the one it was designed for, but the NGX has to run on your home PC, which may be configered a number of different ways, with one of several operating systems. This NGX will accurately calculate extremely complex algorithms on VNAV path and speed, plus tanslate your mouse turning knobs and flipping switches. It is not something that is using the (puke) default FSX, GPS that your so used to on the freeware aircraft. This is a 737 simulation that around 14 professionals have been working on for about three years, many times putting in long hours into the night. It is not something that an amature student has been working on after school for the last three months. This is a 737 that does not use the FSX default 2D flight panel that your so used to in the freeware aircraft, but a highly detailed 3D cockpit that doesn't loose an ounce of clearity anywhere you look, right down to the circuit breakers. I can go on and on, but you get my drift. Now go ahead and put the price on it that you would have expected to see.Not that it matters, but I'm just really curious to know how much you were expecting? When I heard the price, I was amazed at how reasonable it was and I still am. I expected it to cost so much more. Bob To be honest, well in my situation, I expected $55 to $60. Although I wasn't surprised when I saw it only includes the 800/900 since almost all the photo's were only the 800 :( It will happen one day. It WILL happen. I will get the NGX. I will have a better performing computer. To those who will be running the NGX on release congrats! I will be drooling on YouTube in the meantime. With the majority of the time I have left for my self I do VFR anyway. I just really want to do VFR in a 737 xD Cheers everybody to one of the best developers. Robert 'Bob' Greene
August 2, 201114 yr My biggest fear is paying 100+ dollars only for my computer not being able to handle its detail...that scares me. I really think PMDG should put up minimum specs, or the specs they used to test. Karan

August 2, 201114 yr Hope this hasn't been asked before, and I apologise in advanced if this is a stupid question. But what timezone are we running with? The American timezone? Or zulu? Brendan Chen Learning to use and getting use to FSX!
August 2, 201114 yr It costs me more to fill up one of my vehicles with gas one time, than what the NGX Base Pack costs, and it will give me much more enjoyment than that one tank of gas (and last longer). Robert Yunque
