August 5, 201114 yr Gents, I don't want to take you away from what must be an awesome aircraft, I can't get on to eCommerce yet it is still locked out. What FPS programme are you using and what would you recommend? I have used ******* tweaks and am running an i7 2.6 with 6 Gb of Ram and an ATI HD5570. With the Queen at LOWW by FlyTampa I am only getting 20-27FPS, the only tweak I think I am missing is the external FPS, I tried loading FPS Setter and it doesn't seem to have altered anything, could be me being a biff any advice appreciated. Hope they sort out the problems with eCommerce, this is my last day of leave I was hoping to get some good training in! Dave Boreham

Shane, I wouldn't want to wreck my system, I misquoted the CPU it is an i7 [email protected] GHz 2.8GHz which I think means it is a quad core. I wouldn't know where to start on overclocking and don't have the expertise close at hand should it go wrong! I will probably wait for some advice on an external FPS setter and see what happens when I finaly get this excellent aircraft on the system. Thanks for your reply all advice is gratefully received. August 5, 201114 yr Gents, I answered some of my own question, I should have Googled it in the first place. The following link will give you a guide to FSX setup but also provides the links to FPS Setter and more importantly how to use it. http://cheyennepilot...tup/fsx-tuning/ I saw an increase of about 5 to 10 FPS. I also tried setting Autogen all the way to the left, I had an increase of 5 FPS but lost the gates at LOWW so have reset it to normal. Hope this helps. August 5, 201114 yr This is purely my own opinion, turn off the autogen completey, it's naff when your up in the air you cannot see trees and the buildings in fsx are placed so wrongly... just a thought Steve,Turning off autogen has a negative impact on fsx performance. Please consult NickN's tuning guide for more information.. Setting Autogen much below normal is not advisable. Orbix also suggest this also.
August 5, 201114 yr I read the NGX has the mouse showing = a big drop of FPS. Try the MD-11 and NGX for FPS and make sure the mouse pointer is not there before noting it. It's a bad bug. iFly have it and the Duke T have it, was hopping the NGX would not /o well David Murden. August 5, 201114 yr so the NGX is tough on fps like the 744 and not like the MD11. i think i just give up with simulations and slow motion flights and ill wait microsoft flight. for now i keep enjoying clubbing and chicks during my weekends :)
