October 20, 201114 yr Looking foreward to short SAS hops in Scandinavia... Bring it on! Mas Ya, winter ops with the -600 around Europe with the SAS livery should be fun. Eric
October 20, 201114 yr Thanks for sharing!Have you tried the different texture sets with and without mipmapping and can tell us something about that?
October 20, 201114 yr the plane looks so cute !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fernando B ( I know I misspelled Boeing, I did it on purpose to make it Unique )

October 20, 201114 yr Rock me baby. My Visa card's in a holding pattern........lol. Great work and thanx for the info. It's Christmas all year round with PMDG.
October 20, 201114 yr Sounds good Mark and looks beautiful, thank you and I cant wait Alaa A. RiadJust love to fly............... W11 64-bit, MSFS2020, Intel Core i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20 Ghz 6 Cores, 2 TR HD, 16.0 GB DDR4 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 MB GDDR5
October 20, 201114 yr Except that it isn't, the engines are derated to 18,500lbs on the 600, and it is known to be the most unstable in flight of all the 737s owing to the long wingspan and short fuselage, the wings having to have their body fairings redesigned in order for them to blend into the fuselage. Because of this, Boeing had to thicken the metal plating on the outer wings of the 600 because it was prone to flutter; it has garnered some less than flattering nicknames, including the ''wobblin' goblin'' amongst other things. These are some of the reasons why few airlines have bought it and Boeing dropped it from production, although some of its lack of popularity is owing to its weight class, which means it gets charged similar landing fees to other larger 737s but doesn't pull in as much revenue as them because of its smaller capacity. Be interesting to see if those less than stellar flight characteristics are emulated in the PMDG version! Al Yes, why send a 737-600 to do a CRJ's job?
October 20, 201114 yr Nice look at the best version of the 737NG. :( For most people it may be a rare plane, but whenever I go to my local airport I cannot avoid seeing a few. Looking forward to doing the coastal routes along Norway's west coast in the 600. :)
October 20, 201114 yr Thanks for the review, Mark Now, I don't think the use of -600 for runways as short as 1300 m is a concern, since the -700 has always operated in those runways such as SBRJ (1323 m), in Rio and the -800 SFP was specially designed for that. I believe the -600 may be the only option in even shorter fields, specially with the optional SFP features that can now be installed on the -700 and -600. Does the PMDG 600/700 come with those options as well? Pedro Espindola
October 20, 201114 yr BeautyfulI Aircraft!! Reminded me about my base training for my type rating with a 737-500...... ZFW 32.0 tons, Fuel 9.0 tons, without PAX.... Took off as a rocket!! the FD command 25º of pitch but the captain advise me before the take off, do not follow the FD, maximum 20º of pitch ok??! . On final when look at the VREF for 30º Flaps....118 kts?? For one second I think I´m flying a Seneca IV !!
October 20, 201114 yr This has turned into quite the addiction for me....I was warned by a buddy of mine about FSX, but now I understand. This happy customer thinks the wife will not be as excited about this purchase as me....PMDG has through the NGX , banked themselves a loyal customer here.Could you guys imagine if the detail was put into scenery as PMDG does in their aircraft? They would give ORBX a run for their money and make FSX crash and just uninstall itself. Lol William Sequeira
