October 30, 201114 yr problem gonne, no issue. Go to the FSXPMDGPMDG 737 NGXPanelSate folder - open each one of the NGX*.sav files in notepad or a similar plaintext editor - find the line under [CDU.0] that says "2DOpen=1" - set it to 0 and the problem will be fixed. Ivo Crni
October 30, 201114 yr I installed SP1 without doing a clean re-install. Besides the 2D problem, everything works well. The 2D problem goes away in the 2D panel when using Track IR5. The fix "wide panel = True" did not work for me. I hope this is corrected in SP2. Paul Gugliotta

October 31, 201114 yr Same problem too.Ryan posted this yesterday!/Leffe"We found the source of the the blank captain's FMC CDU when using panel states late last night - it'll be fixed shortly in an update but the fix is quite simple if you want to do it yourself right now:Go to the FSXPMDGPMDG 737 NGXPanelSate folder - open each one of the NGX*.sav files in notepad or a similar plaintext editor - find the line under [CDU.0] that says "2DOpen=1" - set it to 0 and the problem will be fixed. The panel states were saved with the 2D popup version of the FMC open and the code wasn't accounting for it - the VC version blanks out if the 2D one is open to save performance and it thinks the 2D is open when it isn't - that's the source of the problem"Ryan Maziarz Leif A Mikkelsen **********************

November 1, 201114 yr Speedbird I had the same problem, the uninstallation don't work from the sp1 because it says that it is already installed. the same for the base pack. Not that easy..:) uninstall from the Control panel and re-install everything.
November 1, 201114 yr I'm glad we all now know about the blank FMC screen, but I have to wonder why we got the pre sp1 panel states still installed after sp2, and, 600-700 install?Surely if there were new panel states, shouldn't the sp1 installer have overwritten the pre sp1 files to be sure this never happened? As mentioned, Ryan has posted a work around fix for the moment, while we found another one opening the fmc in a 2d panel and close back to vc removing the blank screen. November 2, 201114 yr Hello,I have a problem while loading Cold & Dark panel state. Well, just opened the overhead panel I see that many switches are not in a "correct" position or in the position they were prior installing SP1.For example, Trim Air switch is always ON (also before SP1), Standby Power is guard closed (not before SP1), some light switches are already ON (before SP1 they were all OFF), APU bleed air switch is ON (OFF before SP1).Does anyone of you have the same?I remember that before SP1, only few items (2-3) were already ON, but now they are more.Just to be precise, I did an uninstallation of the PMDG 737NGX, then I re-installed the base package, installed SP1 and finally -6700 expansion. So I think that all old own panel states came from the base package should be updated, right?I expected to have a completely OFF overhead panel while choosing a Cold & Dark situation, but now it is not like desidered. Thanks, bye. November 2, 201114 yr You could set it Cold and Dark like you like it and overwrite the default one.Yes, I know, it is an easy suggestion and way to fix, but I'd like to know if it is a common problem or a mine only. I'll proceed in that way.Bye. Capt. RICCARDO RIGHETTIProud customer of the PMDG 737NGX and PMDG 777X (wating for next... PMDG 747 v2 - Queen of Skies) --- Follow me on my Website and Flickr
